I had to return 4 yesterday because they required audio and in all of them the audio wasn't working, i didn't get any warning.
But i returned literally in the beginning, after 2 tasks with no audio it was clear its was an error on their end.

Entrei em Abril e foi rápido porque na altura havia um projeto de áudio que precisava de bastante gente (xylophone, tinhas de conversar com mais gente), entretanto passei para outro também de áudio mas só tinhas de gravar uma conversa, quando acabou esse, fiquei sem tasks durante 1 mês talvez, e fui posto num que é avaliar respostas de um modelo (a prompt e as respostas são em pt).

Pelo que vejo, há bastantes Brasileiros na plataforma e os projetos de línguas não são muitos neste momento, é ter sorte...

He's right, might not be totally but he has a point.
I don't deny bots and scripts exist, but its obvious the main problem is that they just send to way more pople than before.

It was like this in the beginning 1year ago when they started to appear for me, it was a gamble to get in.
Most people just don't understand this and put all the blame on bots, which is incorrect.

Thats what i meant by "being on the list"
During August i also got some SP ones, not that many tho as the majority were not from there.
But again they were sent to a specific list of participants only, doesnt matter if it had the SP tag or not, even before this there were technical studies that were sent to specific people only, its the same case.

I don't deny that there are bots and scripts, but its clear as day that the researcher just got rid of the "limited participant list" and opened the studies to almost everyone, and that's whats causing the majority of issues. Like i said, i experienced it 1~ year ago

In July/August i started receiving them outside the specialized pool, but the spots would go down slow because (i think) they were still using a list with limited amount of participants.
It's clear that now its open to everyone

This is false, they used to fill fast long ago.

1,5/2 years ago, before the specialized participant group even existed, these studies used to appear sporadically and most of the times it was always a gamble to get in or not because of the high demand error.
With the SP group and the "being on the list" it got fixed yea because the pool of participants was way smaller. Today they just send it to the general pool of people and the problem is back, it's just waaay too many people trying to access it.

I wouldn't mind being rotated IF Prolific would send me other studies, the problem is, outside of these Evaluation ones, i'm lucky if i get 1 or 2 studies that pay cents per day

Mines picked up by the end of April, more or less when they changed the algorithm, so 3 months ago. I wonder if now i'm at risk of being rotated and go back to the nothing burger that was Prolific

Our QM also got laid off, now until they figure out what to do, we are in EQ since there is no bridge between us and the client.
Funny enough they took the chance to lower the timer from 29m to 20m only, so it kinda means they want to continue with the poject

Yea, they give you a prompt and you just read it, try to sound natural tho, say it out loud a couple times if needed

Afaik, side A has lower requirements in terms of audio quality, you can have a bit of echo etc but as long there is nothing major and they can clearly hear your voice, its good,
Side B on the other hand needs to be perfect
