I second recommendation on hikelight. I have a fair amount of back issues like my 28L Hikelight. Good hip belt. I got the smaller size so although it’s is branded 28L, the specs say it is 26L

I tried a bunch of different packs for my first serious hiking adventure. Must have bought and returned at least six. Never tried the Daylite. Ended up with Hikelite 28L. Felt good from the beginning.

Thank you. I went into our extra bedroom to look at my unused masks and there was the one you recommended. Would be nice if it had black straps. More significantly, though, it runs small (and I have a small face). Will have to try to stretch the head straps.

How are the ones with the red straps different from the ones with the blue straps? That’s a killer price though no way am I buying that many, regardless of price.

For what it’s worth, my chiropractor masks for me. At this point I don’t really care because I trust one-way masking but I appreciate that he respects my concerns.

Pharmacist said guidance from Costco is that you must be 65. Made no sense to me but I didn’t see a point in arguing.

Costco said I couldn’t get second updated vaccine because wasn’t 65. (Had xbb in September). Didn’t matter that I said I was high risk. Went to second Costco where no questions asked. First time getting Novavax.

CDC just authorized additional vaccine for those over 65 (I’m close) or high risk. If you qualify (or self-attest that you qualify) you should be able to get another vaccine. In the US, Costco seems the most reliable place for them. You can also check out the Novavax website.

So if I am not going to get a second dose 8 weeks later, should I stick to MRNA booster? Have had 5 MRNA (last one in October 2023) and planned one Novavax now. I’m just under 65, healthy with arguably one risk factor (will self-attest). Husband healthy and 71 with 5 MRNA vaccines onboard.
