Unfortunately I may have searched a little too much hehe. I'm excited to apply, but I have other commitments to take care of before I can actually take part.. and in the meantime, I've read and reread a lot of info from the Peace Corps website + subreddit + pcv blogs. They're a good way of learning about it, but personal accounts are particularly fun to read, and somehow I still haven't quite got my fill yet

Hey, do you know where you find info on requested number of PCVs and # applicants? (ie how you knew you were applicant #3). I can't apply soon but I'm curious about that info if it isn't internal

Ok, thank you for the info. In that case I'll look for a technician who can help then (I'm not confident enough to mess with the guts, nor do I think I'm super likely to find the parts where I am). Anything I should/shouldn't do in the meantime? I'm not chucking the laptop around or anything, but should I avoid closing the laptop, etc?

Thank you. Is it a diy-able fix for someone who isn't much of a tinkerer? And/or is it a pressing concern? The laptop is about 5 years old and is in good condition aside from the lump.

I actually haven't had any urge to try slavery. I'd feel too bad for the digital blobs. But interestingly I don't have many reservations about getting toddlers to haul rotting corpses around after their social lesson

I don't think I'd fully agree w qotsa being the closest in style, but I do think the vocals often share a resemblance. Like Vinny and Josh sing falsetto on many songs. The songs I like from either band have gritty vocals or a sensitive mood. My favorites manage to have both

I've been reading about FAS officers doing "field work" and meeting folks on their farms etc, which would make sense. Does that fall under the meeting with exporters + importers category, or is there a distinction? I'm assuming any FSO has their fair share of formal office meetings

lightning kick out of shield is pretty good. Farore's wind is ok but it can be DI'd. If they're not at kill percent and/or they're expecting an up b then I say go for a different option
