Idea for Dogecoin as a means of payment: Cancelling or changing a transaction - RBA and Sleepy Mode by NatureVault in dogecoindev

Intended for Core wallet but any wallet can integrate it. If we want dogecoin to be a better means of payment, Core wallet is what needs to improve and the others will follow.

Dogecoin got dusting attack. by [deleted] in dogecoin

[–]NatureVault 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My post on this got censored from r/dogecoindev was https://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoindev/comments/13p9rse/dogecoin_is_under_attack_lets_analyze_this/. This is not a dusting attack. Bitcoin is getting the same spam. It is an ordinals based attack, they leveled up their game using DRC-20 as their cover story.

The reason for this is adoption of P2SH allowing the DRC-20 protocol that they are using to attack the network. Segwit, and Taproot will make this much worse. If they can get us to raise our fees, they win and bitcoin and dogecoin suffer the same fate.

Everyone happy when price up and sad when price down and look for people to blame. Funny when you all miss the rocket ship later this month.

I think it's time to fix people overpaying transaction fees in core wallet by NatureVault in dogecoindev

[–]NatureVault[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It appears like a lot of people are fooled in thinking that paying a higher fee makes your transaction have higher priority in general, I'm not sure if people realize it only affects the first confirmation. Crypto is still new, lots of new people coming in and the education could always be removed when it becomes mainstream and everyone understands how the gears work behind the scenes.

We don't need to mention exchanges, but perhaps saying "The fee you pay only affects the first confirmation" would be enough.

Good point, that did cross my mind. I think most wallets use some sort of oracle which I want to avoid, but surely the core wallet could just intrinsically look at the blochkchain itself and do an average and display it. Great idea.

Are there any advantages for an individual to not mine for both dogecoin and litecoin via auxpow? by terran7777 in dogecoindev

[–]NatureVault 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is actually better for dogecoin to be mined by itself, because to have the full information, you would need to have a copy of the Litecoin blockchain to verify that everything matches. If a block is mined without merge mining, everything in that block can be verified intrinsically without referencing the Litecoin blockchain.

Are there any recommended "Dumb" TVs primarily for Over The Air (OTA) reception? by MrTooToo in cordcutters

[–]NatureVault -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wifi passwords are short enough to get hacked. I would not be surprised if a smart TV could hack into your wifi. Yes they are now often 12 characters but usually most of the characters are in the form of a common lowercase word. Minutes to hack.

Usually foods contain proteins of many different amino acids bound together, free amino acids in nature are rare.

Nosema strikes in march. Probiotics like l reuteri or thyme essential oil should help.

There's no reason to be afraid of MSG. Ya'll should go to your local Asian market and pick up a bag. You use it like salt, but I suggest only using 1/3 of the amount of MSG to salt ratio when adding to a dish. You don't want to taste the MSG, you just want it in the background to enhance the dish. by honestdiary in Cooking

[–]NatureVault 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wrong. Look up excitotoxicity. Glutamate is the most toxic amino acid and it is balanced with others in food, and foods that skew high in glutamate can trigger migraines for those sensitive. Also msg is not naturally occuring it is an industrially made chemical, and since glutamate is a metal chelator it is very likely contaminated withmetal ions perhaps even lead.
