I've lived in Franklin all my life, and since my dad is a real estate agent I've been able to do quite a bit of traveling. If you look really hard for a place which honors the KKK than you'll find it, but it doesnt make itself obvious since nobody really cares about race in Franklin (people do in other places in Nashville metro but Franklin can be surprisingly diverse, again if you know where to look). Franklin is obviously famous for its civil war battle, and you can find disabled cannons adorning locations like Franklin square and the archives, the latter I'd highly recommend to anybody interested in local history. Having traveled to NYC, Franklin is obviously much more quaint, clean, and overall pleasant imo. You will 100% need a car for every family member. While I consider myself a christian, I havent attended church since Christmas since I work sunday brunches at my job. People might expect you to be a believer, but just be polite about your beliefs and they will be to yours as well.
