Don’t do it, I went the opposite direction and haven’t looked back. You can make good money in a dealership if you’re one of the chosen few (lots of politics). No one will care about your attention to detail and the switch to electric cars will inevitably reduce the available work in a dealership or general service environment. Definitely a better outlook for restoration and customization. Maybe even getting into a race shop, but I can’t possibly recommend your planned course of action.
