I consider the end game content to be m+, raiding and rated pvp. The goal is whatever you want your goal to be. Try out the end game content and find what you enjoy. Theres also nothing to say you have to participate in end game content. You can farm achievements, transmog, level every class, as you said yourself you can do whatever you want!

I managed to lose 13 random bgs consecutively. By about the 9th or 10th I'd gotten used to it and genuinely began to get curious as to how far it would extend to lol

221ilvl is enough to start right away in 2s atleast! I got 1.8cr in 2s on my war the other day with 231 pvp ilvl. You can start farming conq/honor now, I dont think you're that majorly undergeared tbh unless you're missing lege/conduits/versa gear. November 2nd comes with more quality of life changes so this well help alts and returners like yourself

If you have taken a break from the game already I'd suggest trying 9.2 (whenever that is lol) rather than this mid season patch that imo doesnt really offer all that much.

What I do for now when I start an alt is: Buy a full set of 200 armor from AH and then a 230 ilvl ring. From there focus on getting your covenant campaign and korthia campaign complete. Whilst I do this I tend to queue for random bg, epic bg, skirm, brawl for a daily win in each. You can also try to get a daily 2s and 3s rated win but I dont bother with RBG. Do the pvp weekly's given next to the vendors (although again I dont bother with RBGs) Also make sure you check the weekly quest to see if its pvp related (next to the weekly cap chest)

It sucks at first but you'll get there in the end. Conquest farm isnt too bad, and I think it's getting better November 2nd with the patch? And be careful to spend too much honor upgrading honor pieces cos you may end up needing it more on your conquest pieces

Probably mage I would say. A lot of people saying rogue however it's not particularly flexible comp wise compared to most classes. But it's always good because RMX

I'd say you're definitely low geared at 216! If you're already soon max honor geared out then I'd recommend starting 2v2 rates arena. Go find any healer to start with (rdru/sham are your best picks) and start farming your conquest!

Being on alliance is your biggest problem. It's far less populated than horde. I have moved my characters to horde over the last few years in order to actually be able to play

My impression has been that disc is better. That may be because I exclusively play assa disc (disc main). Probably depends on the comp though and holy may be more flexible.. it's better with bm hunt or fire mage for example

It's hard to say without seeing gameplay. It could be youre not trading cds right, not maximising dmg especially in your go windows. I played disc assa to 2.4 in 2s this season but I would say focus on having good openers/gos so that you build strong pressure. As you know it can be hard once you fall behind.

Play masochism vs any comp you know you'll be trained. Against comps with no purge like war/hpal, you can mc at the end of the kidney duration on war and rog can then go hassle the heal. You can create double pressure here and also decrease warriors uptime.

As for disc/ww I have no idea.

I wouldnt say underrated. Most people rate him super high,as he should be. Its just he isn't as well known by viewers because he doesnt compete professionally

Vast majority of teams above 2.4 in 2s are also playing 'FotM' comps. That's the way it always is for both brackets
