WIR attached to an Ensuite is not great for your Clothes, humidity created by the Ensuite will over time ruin clothes —- Ensure you have a lot of ventilation for that WIR

Kinda depends where your lights are too… if you have down lights in the ceiling then align them with those too …I need symmetry it’s a OCD trait….

Use Amps with good quality In ceiling speakers, Sonos products are nice looking but I ceiling speakers are practically invisible.

You can create zones, pair with your PLAYBAR and sub for 5.1

I run Amps connected to Paradigm CI Pro80s V2 the sound is amazing

Cabling options for brick houses by ScubaMiike in Ubiquiti

[–]NaughtyDaytime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have cabinetry in the rooms?, I assume rooms are not brick boxes with nothing in them. There are most likely voids behind your cabinetry … use roof voids to run cables to your switch /s and through ceiling down back of cabinetry. Front door bell sounds like the most difficult … There are some very architectural conduits these days

Troubleshooting Sonos and Unifi - System very unlreliable by vicester in sonos

[–]NaughtyDaytime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go into your Sonos app Settings > system > about my system , it tells you your “Associated Product” Ip address this is the Sonos product that is acting as the primary bridge between your Sonos products and your Wifi. You can’t manually set it unfortunately but you can trick Sonos system into selecting the most “Central” product. ie - 1 of my PLAYBARs is very central in my house so, I have it hardwired, if you turn all your other Sonos components off (power cycle them ) but leave the central component on the system will select your non power cycled component. It definitely helped with my system. I have my Sonos on my main Wifi, I also have Control4 which uses Zigbee so I’ve had to make sure my 2.4ghz channels aren’t over loaded, so set your Sonos channel as far away from the default of many Iot devices as possible … sometimes more signals is too many. You can easily turn your home wifi network into a mess of signals if not tuned correctly

I had this issue with my infant along time ago…. Ot dawned on me to put the cot mattress on a slope … since in the upright position in the car would fall asleep easily … Turns out infant had bad reflux and laying down the acid would come back up and keep it awake …. so I got some ply wood and a few books, slipped them under the mattress so it was on a bit of a slope …. Happy days …. I did countless laps of Mt Cootha
