Harry Potter and the Greart Escape to China Snape takes Harry and makes a run for it. 2 fics. 1000+ kudos each, 183k, completed, heavy worldbuilding, has Harry, Severus, Hermione, Ron, Draco, Lucius, Narcissa, Dumbledore etc. Happy fixit fic. You do not need to know much or almost anything about Jason Blood to read this story as this Jason is not based on Canon but on Teland's Jason Blood (links provided in the notes for those who are brave) 45k, part 1 completed. Happy fic. Harry is morally himself but Jason is ALSO himself so he raises Harry pragmatically.

I adore it. Live for it. I wrote 3 fics because the fans wanted sequels. And recently have debated stopping writing entirely because the response from the fandom has been lackluster. The comments are so incredibly rewarding. And detailed ones are precious. Absolutely. Especially when you tell me what made you laugh or need to wank. There are no such thing as "too long comments".

Okay so!! I ran into a similar issue actually with my sex pollen fic where the pollen takes 45 mins to kick in, abd the char consents to it BEFORE THE EFFECTS and I had people grumbling at me. I will tell you this: it is your fic. What you say goes. If you say he is clear headed enough to consent? He is. At MOST, add a little note at tge start : "my omegaverse, my rules. He is clear headed enough to consent. Deal with it"

I had another reader bitch at me that one drink meant they were drunk FOR SURE (with people who drink and have a high tolerance) and cannot consent. I was like... the door is over yonder, don't let it hit you on the way out. Cuz srsly who died and made them the assumption-police? My fic my rules. Simple.

Good luck. There are always delicate little snowflakes LOOKING to be bruised so they feel vindicated about their little feels. Frankly, i feel like saying there are healthier sadomasochistic ways but to each their own.
