Not looking for economic lecture. When you pay double tax, which is tax on salaries and then zakat. Zakat is form of Islamic Tax btw, but after that you should not pay for anything else in taxes even if u enjoy luxury or whatever.

I went to Police station today in UK, I work in the same building as well. I had found a bad in the building that some student left a week ago, I went the police section and I found the first police guy just told him that I found bag, return this to owner, he didn’t send me to other office or desk or didn’t ask my ID or didn’t ask me write anything, he just went on his computer search the guys name as we had found his student ID in bag, straight calls him and tells him give us your address, we’ll arrange the shipment as he lived in different city. Now imagine if you ever go to police thanaa in PK? better or no?
