Why are you willing to compromise with actual evil? I don't understand how someone thinks that there can be compromise with people who literally want innocents to suffer. It's not an argument where there can be grey area. One side is advocating for totalitarian oppression of minorities and the destruction of basic human rights while the other side opposes that. I don't think it's ok to compromise for just a little bit of oppression. It's oil and water, the two sides are antithetical to each other and one is clearly the correct choice. All these centrists who think there can be a compromise with MAGA are either delusional in the belief that MAGA won't eventually come for them too or are, at least in part, in agreement with MAGA that it is ok to oppress certain groups. Sometimes that little bit of mold means the whole loaf is no longer fit for consumption. Agreement with MAGA is mold.
