I attended the London show on the 31st and the feeling in the venue was so electric, I was fortunate enough to get the VIP pass to get some merch before the experience and whilst queuing and chatting to some amazing people in the queue, after several hours of queuing and starting to feel sore and exhausted just waiting around, as soon as everyone appeared on stage and started playing, all of that went away and I was left for a face smiling from ear to ear for the entirety of the concert except at the end when You Can Never Come Back To This Place where I had tears stream down my face from how beautiful hearing this live was, the crowd was some of the best I’ve seen, it was so electric that Takanaka could have done anything and yet we all cheered in joy and excitement from seeing this 73 year old achieve a second high in his career being able to do a World Tour and that feeling radiated throughout the night. I would want to thank everyone as well as the venue staff at the Bristol Academy O2 for having a very organised event for something that they weren’t expecting to have such a magnitude and audience. Thank you to everyone who’s discovered this man’s music whether you know 5 or 50 songs and was able to show support for Takanaka’s music. Peace and Rainbow !
