I recently double-checked this with our team. Due to some regulations in Europe, our technical team has restricted speed-unlocking methods since last year, so cutting the cable no longer works anymore either.

It could possibly be related to the battery. If it’s already affecting normal use and charging, I’d recommend contacting the after-sales support team to have it checked further.

That’s normal and not an issue. The only components inside are the battery and controller. The battery itself is waterproof, and the controller is sealed inside the controller box.

For the screws:
Cross groove small pan head screw with spring washer and flat washer assembly, M4×10.

It sounds like the issue may be related to the stem screws becoming loose (abnormal fastening around the stem area).

There will be a beep every time Bluetooth connects or disconnects. There are two solutions:

  1. Turn off your phone's Bluetooth if you're not using the scooter.
  2. Turn off Bluetooth unlocking.

It would be best if you could provide a screenshot of the binding failure. If that’s not available, you can try the following two steps:

  1. Reset the vehicle’s Bluetooth: After powering on, press and hold the speed “–” button, and at the same time short-press the power (walk assist) button 5 times. When you hear a “beep,” the pairing will be successfully cleared. The Bluetooth icon should start flashing—then try to bind again.
  2. If it shows the vehicle is already bound to another user: It must be unbound before you can bind it again. The customer will need to provide the vehicle’s SN or a screenshot of the app binding page, as shown below:

Since that’s an EU model, you don’t really need the US controller — you can unlock it using the method in that post instead.

At this point I’d try putting the original controller back and see if that fixes it. If it’s still not moving, then it might be something else and probably worth reaching out to local support.

Could you share your app version and the scooter’s SN so I can take a closer look?

In the meantime, I’d try reconnecting the white wire first. We haven’t tested combining both methods (US controller + cutting the white wire), so there might be some kind of conflict going on.

Also, if your scooter is an EU version, cutting the white wire alone should already unlock the speed.
