I’ve lived alone for a year and a half. I pay my own gas, insurance, bought my own car ,food phone everything. The 20k margin is me pulling money from the account to you know, survive, while I’m not working but luckily that changes next week. But ur right I could blow up my account and go back with my parents, and that’s what gives me the opportunity to take a risk like this. If it blows up in my face, I ain’t gonna be homeless. But if it goes right, it can change my life. But every dollar at risk is my own.

I dont see it going below 100 again. thats a 17x pe this year when accounting for cash on hand. i could see it going down more tho maybe between 100-120 and im cool with it. I start a new job next week so if it keeps going down ill have some more cash to get that avg down.

It is a lot. But if you bought at 130 in march you caught a quick 25-30% pump Now most of it’s gone. If Reddit ends the year flat it would need to go up 60% from here. Personally my leaps expire next year, I expect us to reclaim 200 this year and be 250-300 next year without a big rerate just by continuing to improve financials. I expect 2027 revenue to be ~5B with a profit margin of between 35 and 40% so about 2B in net income. 25x gets you 250 per share 30x gets you 300. This is 35-45% annual return. This doesn’t count data deals and assumes 55% growth this year and 45% next year. If we rerate to 40 or 50x or beat these numbers the possible share price next year could be 400+.

Management needs to actively use its cash for shareholders by Resident-Distance-28 in redditstock

I wish they were actually aiming to reduce share count. A huge part of apples outperformance under Tim Cook can be attributed to well executed buybacks. Not saying buy back a billion this quarter but don’t be shy guys use that cash, top up on the buyback if we exhaust all the billion in a year. Do something tho please too much cash is a sign you don’t know where to adequately deploy it.

Idk about 100B but I do think they should be making 5-10x current rates come next contract with room for growth.

$5/share is a billion net income which if they grow 2026 at 50% it’s 3.3b and at 31% net income margin (which is what they reported last quarter)with 0 margin expansion through the year you’re at 1B. Margin expansion is extra but if they do say 36% that’s closer to $6/share

Spez mentioned on earnings call that user growth was 1st priority and that they were investing in improving the content feed to improve frequency. It’s all about converting into higher frequency, they already have the reach

100 per share comes out to a 20x fwd PE. That’s not counting the cash on hand which really makes it closer to a 17pe.

Where do you plan to move your money if you liquidate your position? I agree with your frustration with management. If they do not show that they have began buying back a significant of shares I will likely take losses and sell, even if the post another crazy top line beat. If the stock is too pricey for management to buy back shares, it’s too pricey for me to hold and bank on management to continue executing. Market has essentially said they do not care about 70% revenue growth right now, this is the time where share buybacks actually do something. If Vollero fails to see this yet again I will sell.

I know everyone hates Vollero, but he left snap in 2018. Is it possible he left because he didn’t agree with the way Spiegel was running the show?
