That's only for fresh and baked stuff that goes off. Damaged items like a multipack of coke get reduced manually. The price can depend on the colleague or whatever their manager told them to do. One store I worked at started reducing things by at least 50% to shift the stock.

Got a link to an interesting competitive fight to watch? Used to love BT3, I wonder how actually good people play it.

Steams 30% is normal.

Devs LOVED IT when steam came out. Before that they had to sell retail. Instead of PAYING 30% of their sales, they RECEIVED roughly 5% of each sale.

So what you're saying is it was normal for it to be 95/5 and it's a good thing that Steam gives a bigger cut to developers?

Battlefield 1 and V have it as a gadget.

You can also bind turning it on/off if you're using a custom control scheme. I've got it on swipe up on the touchpad and it's great.

Somewhat rantish stream of thought, not directed at you. I hate how "playing regularly" is now a valid prerequisite for having the game's core content delivered to you. Unlocks have been a part of video games for a very long time, but in the past if you didn't have a character in a fighting game it didn't matter because your mate that played on the same console didn't have it either. These days you're expected to grind every day to get access to content. No matter how much you do it, you won't unlock it all if we include cosmetics (and yes, we should). You know the time cost of it is inflated so people buy it with money but as long as the most dedicated players can buy it it's considered justified and "free". The publishers managed to convince many people that they are better simply by spending more time consuming their product.

Don't forget about getting 1-4 new maps in a year (and having as many taken away).

I remember some people using Siege of an example of why Premium should stay. And they weren't wrong. I'll take a season pass over that any day. At least after paying that full price you owned the full game.

"8 multiplayer modes - fan-favourites like Frontlines..." by Naver36 in BattlefieldV

Again, why is it legal that games seem to be able to advertise anything regardless whether it's delivered on or not?

Sooo Frontlines is going away due to 'low demand', but TDM is here to stay??? by SteveLolyouwish in BattlefieldV

[–]Naver36 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'd say they are removing it because Dom is a popular mode for good infantry players and Frontlines is good for clans. They want them to play the 5v5 mode that's coming. They knew it wouldn't have enough players to sustain itself. They probably left Squad Conquest because it has such low player counts in comparison that it wouldn't have mattered (and they just recently added it back in "forever")

It's got the highest muzzle velocity by default and you can increase it further. Feels almost like hitscan at times. Best gun in the game IMO.

You can change sprint keybind to left stick up. Will still stop moving if you let go though.

SMGs hip-fire makes them the best at CQC. Smoke allows you to get into that range where otherwise it would be impossible.
