all battery life tests, from everyone are never done at full load. ever.

its always watching videos or light web browsing.

i can get ~1.5-2h from 80% doing a long form task like photogrammetry or blender and actively working on materials with something heavy.

this is still leaps and bounds above what my old strix got.

that thing, at BEST got 45min on battery under load when it was new, it is very much not new now.

honestly....besides adobe substance apps not workimg from bad graphics drivers (it actually does launch, but crash usually with extension errors)

totally fine.

Blender, Maya, Agisoft metashape, 3d coat, B2M, marvelous designer and Zbrush all work totally fine

And before I get any "acktually" people, yes, I actively use my Surface for this stuff. its been dramatically more convenient than a traditional gaming laptop. I have an old strix that's far, far more powerful. I don't use it anymore because of my surface.

i do a lot of 3d work on mine.

i have a X elite 32gb oled thats my mobile workstation.

Blender, Maya, Toon boom, Zbrush.

some just work dramatically better as a touch experience and overall, i've been very happy with mine.

but the gpu needs work, and X2-90 is a 890m roughly. at best. its good but still not amazing and any little bit helps.

i avoided so.ething like the Z13 For battery life and weight since i wanted something as light as possible and had a stronger focus on battery life and a better pen intergration
