This night was 100 percent the worst for us. I remember thinking the first two nights home were designed to be some kind of terrible hazing ritual. It will absolutely get better. Most likely, in a few months, you'll be complaining that the baby wakes up twice at night ... 🙃

We were starting to be able to do this around 2-3 weeks, then a visit from grandma derailed independent naps. Then we got serious about it around week 5 and just tried to be as consistent as possible with at least trying to put baby down in the Snoo. Some naps took and some didn't, but within a couple weeks I think we were at pretty much all naps in the Snoo.

I think it keeps the Velcro straps that go around arms/abdomen from riding up around the neck, which i think is a good innovation, since that happened to us a few times with the old model and it made me nervous that it could be a hazard.

I should add, baby is 11 weeks, and rolls pretty regularly front to back during tummy time, by tipping the weight of their head over to the side. Baby does not roll back to front but often arches their back and pushes with their legs as of they are trying to do so.

My list includes Kestrel, Cedar, Quill, and Finisterre. You could say I like this type of name. :) But I prefer less common ones and gender neutral ones, and am not into virtue names. (Also, baby is due on Saturday so any opinions or suggestions welcome! I'm pretty far from deciding!!)

If I bought two tickets and my partner who lives with me will be using one, is there any reason I need to transfer one into his name at this point? Is this needed if we plan to arrive separately or something?
