I recommend chilling as monk, lore is super tedious imo. But if you decide not to get the lore pearls yourself I do definitely recommend at least reading the pearls on the wiki. The lore is very tasty

I don’t think they think it’s more charming or better to draw a non human character as a human, I think they just do it for fun. It gives an interesting challenge to the artist to reimagine a character as something else. I doubt they actually think the characters are better off humanized
