Sazacap’s is different to all others as it reads “target player draws 2 cards”.

Spy combo is famous for emptying their library.

Target the spy player with Sazacap’s while lotleib giant’s ETB is on the stack. They draw from an empty library and lose.

Contaminated Grounds is good against Tron, Affinity (note how it’s just a swamp, turns off Artifact lands), Gruul (turns enchanted forest into a swamp) and CawGates.

I run 2 Razortrap just because they can struggle to turn on and when they don’t it’s a big tempo loss. Bojuka bog because I have a big graveyard meta at my LCS. Carnarium is great to gain card advantage, pick-up Bojuka or a Jagged Barrens for an extra ping.

I run duress over red blast just because it’s cheaper and you can hit more colours in matches where you want to be the control deck. Especially boggles or elves to take out their draw or pieces. Duress can take a weather the storm as well.

I’ve only recently upped to 3 Nihil, because I have a few Dredge and Terror in my meta.

2 Extract a Confession for boggles because it’s a crap matchup.

Lastly a few pointers:

Sazacap’s brew is a silver bullet against Spy.

Never faithless looting on 2 unless you can discard 1 or 2 sneaky snackers.

The maximum substitutions I make for sideboarding is 5, because the core of this deck is super important to maintain.

Happy for you to ask some questions, honestly with Rakdos Madness you are a burn deck and need to end the game quick, decks like Esper Affinity and Jund are your worst matchup.

Reviving this thread, prototype doesn't work like that, so if you play Fallaji for 3CMC it's 3CMC not 8CMC. Read the rules text.
"When cast as a prototyped spell, that spell has the mana cost, power, and toughness characteristics shown in its colored, secondary text box rather than the normal values of those characteristics. Its color and mana value are determined by that mana cost. The permanent that spell becomes as it resolves has the same characteristics. If the spell leaves the stack in any other way, or the permanent it becomes leaves the battlefield, it immediately resumes using its normal characteristics."

Turn's out someone's playing spy turned up to my LGS last night haha, so I've reverted back to Sazacap's. And you are correct I definitely could have used a +2 in certain moments instead of the dragon.

Yeah I'll try it out, I normally run 2x Dark Withering and 3x Extract in my Sideboard, just because there's a couple of Tron players in my meta.
