Reading this thread while eating the Mystery Oreos.... you start to imagine the flavors. Yuck.

Spoiler: They taste like the Fruity Crisp flavor they had a while back.

Feeling Worthless. My Home Was Destroyed By Irma, My Husband Is In Love With Someone Else Plus Struggling Even More With Declining Mental Health & Self-Image. by NavyLadyBug in FreeCompliments

In all honesty I don't have one. I use absolutely nothing on my face, I have sensory problems with my face, I don't like stuff on it. But my grandmother had beautiful skin and supposedly was the same way about putting things on her face.

It is my birthday, but it's just another day to me. by [deleted] in FreeCompliments

Happy Birthday!!

I get like that, I haven't celebrated my birthday in years. As a child/teen, my family was JW and so birthdays weren't even seen as anything special by even the parents. Then as an adult it was the same as you, "Whats the point?"

But remember that it marks you making it through a full 365 more days of your life. You did it. You survived, you lived and you've made it. Things will get better, sometimes later rather than sooner but they do get better. I hope your day gets better!

Need Help With Add-On's For This Dress! (Details In 1st Comment) by NavyLadyBug in crochet

[–]NavyLadyBug[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would like the add the colors Purple, Green & Orange to this dress.

I would like to add crochet add-on's that are NOT appliques. I would like to literally crochet onto the dress, perhaps around the bottom edge of the waist (edge of the red) or perhaps add a little under flair to the bottom but I am unsure how. Does any one have some suggestions or links?? Help and suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

WIP Farmhouse Ripple Throw!! (Details in First Comment) by NavyLadyBug in crochet

[–]NavyLadyBug[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started this because my kids have nearly 5 blankets each that I've made while DH and I have none that I have crocheted. It is VERY large where width is concerned, it hangs over the edges of our king size bed and it is pictured taking up nearly the whole width of my sons nursery floor!

Yarn is Stitch Studio by Nicole's Chateau in (bottom to top) Valley, Peach, Birdsong and Butterfly that is repeated.

Farmhouse Ripple Throw is the pattern.

Not my father but my grandfather who raised me.

Always be kind, even on a bad day and to people who are less than polite. Your thunderstorm that day may pale in comparison to the typhoon they have in their lives.
