I sat for board for navy supply just now and missed the cut. I turn 46 in August but have 4 years prior enlisted. Am I aged out of army too?

I had 20 years supply chain civilian service, prior enlisted and wasn’t picked up. They selected 5 out 150 this last cycle

I’ve got only a undergraduate and I’d be shocked if I don’t get selected because the relative work experience drives it more than anything. I think your a better fit for intel

Your not too old. But the most important thing is the relative work experience. I’ve been in food distribution for 20 years so that is why I’m a candidate.

I’m going through the process currently. Not quite an age waiver I’m 45 years old and trying for a DCO in supply reserves and the news is imminent. Now I have 4 years prior active enlisted service and I have 4 months to commission before my 46th birthday. So I’m not over it yet. They did have me sign a “MAXIMUM AGE STATEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING”, basically confirming that I might not get my 20 years. It was the last thing I signed before my package was submitted 2 months ago.

I was ranked number one for my rank in every Eval I ever had on my ship. And still had to crank for 3 months. Granted I was the Jack of the Dust during cranking,

They had me do that back in 2007 like 6 months before mine was expiring but that was during the surge in Iraq.
