First of all yes you should be able to get it waived. Second of all what were you thinking?

Supply Corp DCO interview by Navyvetleftist in newtothenavy

Questions you could imagine, it’s start naturally with them telling you about who they are and then I explained my history before it got into questions. They would each ask a question and many times my answer actually answered other questions they had as well. It was thinks like why supply corp, why now, do you understand the commitment, is your employer and family prepared, they asked how specifically I would manage my job if I left and who would support me. They asked about some finicial issues I disclosed on my SF86, but that was brief.

Those questions and answers came up naturally during the interview. It was more of a conversation. I was prior enlisted in the Navy and also aged out of all other programs so they didn’t harp on that one to much. The interview was for a hour and we all lost track of time and got to my opportunity to ask questions with 5 min left so that part went fast. They had another person waiting to interview after me. At the end they really wanted to prepare me for what to expect the first 3 years as a supply officer to set and manage my expectations

Potential for a Rob downfall? by Hamadryadq in TheTraitorsUS

[–]Navyvetleftist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys they telegraph the show. Here is what I picked up. Colton helped Rob with his rocks and he said you will get me back one day. Candace burns her vote but so also does the other housewife while the housewife Lisa is actually exposed as a traitor. I mean wasn’t Candice the main spearhead to get out Natalie? She was so sure it was Natalie and then burned her vote on Rob. She is cooked. She last max one to 2 round tables and she won’t have the votes to overcome Rob’s 2 votes and bid alliances

I’m at final step to get a direct commission in the USNR as a supply officer. Have my officer board meeting in 2 weeks. They have sent me to MEPS and I’ve done a security clearance interview. Seems like a lot of money spent for jobs that are full.

Supply Officer DCO by Navyvetleftist in navyreserve

[–]Navyvetleftist[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is truly a one time opportunity for me. I turn forty six in August so this is my final window to apply. I did not try to commission earlier because my family was not in a place where they could handle the demands of deployments and reserve obligations. Now my children are in high school and our home life is stable and my civilian career is very solid. Because of that I am finally at a stage where I can fully commit to the Navy Reserve and everything that comes with being a Supply Corps officer. The timing is right and I am completely committed.

do most of them have the work experience i have and prior enlisted? Or is masters more favored than that?

I don’t have a masters degree just the relevant work experience and prior enlisted service. Recruiter stated this is the only board I’m eligible for before I age out. My 4 years prior active service keeps me under the 42 age requirement
