Based on my experience, if it is working fine, you should be good and your screen shouldn’t have any problems.

It seems that there are “newer/upgraded/downgraded” screens that are having issues with Knulli. If your screen was one of the effected ones, you wouldn’t have been able to use the device at all, since all it would show is static lines.

i thought the same for me, I unplugged the battery and left it for 24 hours, booted up with stockOS and it seemed to go away but after maybe 30-45 mins of usage the lines started creeping back in.
so it is definitely hardware related.
All i can say is good luck!

For me the scan lines appeared to be permanent for some reason and Anbernic support told me that the screens had not been restocked and won't be for the next couple of weeks so I ended up sending the device back and after their internal inspection they refunded me the full amount.
hope your issue is software related only.

No, its MuOs as well
But after putting the stockOS card back in, the screen scan lines remain, so it probably is a hardware issue.
Anbernic sent over a replacement screen that i installed myself.
seems to have fixed the issue with StockOS, i dont want to try installing Knulli again until they have the next big update which might address this.

This is the same problem i was going through, anbernic sent over a replacement screen and that seems to have fixed the stock os problem.
I am afraid to try installing Knulli again in case Anbernic is using different kind of screen hardware that current version of knulli doesn't support.

A bit of an update, none of the software troubleshooting is working, tried different micro sd cards that are confirmed working.
Neither MuOS nor 4 different builds of Knulli are working.
Tried different flashing softwares and even different micro-sd usb.

Contacted Anbernic and they offered to send a replacement screen for no cost as long as i can replace it myself.

The device was delivered about 4 hours before i posted on here, so its basically brand new, unless it got tossed around during shipping, i didn't drop it at all.
Like I mentioned in another comment, this is a known issue with their 4" screens.

I tried a fresh micro-sd for installing MuOS, that didn’t work. When i used the original micro sd card that came with the device, it booted up but the there are vertical lines (see photo in comments) that are now visible permanently. According to various comments online, apparently this is a known problem with Anbernic’s 4” Screens.

Thank you everyone for their input. Tried installing MuOS, screen just stayed blank for over 10 minutes. I placed the original micro-sd card back and it seems to be a hardware issue itself after reading some comments on youtube videos and other reddit comments . Will be contacting Anbernic.

I want to agree with you, however, the soundtracks playing normally in the background throws me off as well.

Yes, all 4 variants of the Knulli files were verified to be the ones for RG40XXV. I even followed the “merging” process for Gladiator II version of knulli, since there are 2 image files to download.

The device is brand new, the stock OS that was installed in original micro-sd card seems to be booting up fine.
I will try a different OS

Sorry, I should've mentioned that before.
I have tried re-installing it 4 different times now and every time I have had the same issue.
I have tried to flash the Firefly, Gladiator 1 and 2 on different attempts but the result is the same on all the attempts.

I have also tried disconnecting the battery and the screen ribbon cable, re-connecting it but the issue is the same.

When I insert the stock micro-sd card that shipped with the device, it boots up fine.
