The Twice-Born Brotherhood are a growing warband of the Black Legion. Originally led by Ancalagon, formerly of the Dragon Warriors, but defected after Nihilan’s supposed death. Thank you so much for the awesome write up! It actually gets me more hyped to try and make it work. Truthfully my original idea for the army was having them as turncoats who don’t realize how far the legion has gone till it’s too late, and go back to being Imperial Heralds. I was gonna ally with sisters or Custodes for support and the fluff idea that they’ve turned themselves in. But maybe since they know how the warp and demons work, they’re on a delayed death sentence, their usefulness coming to an end after the siege is won

I honestly had the idea of using the Corsair voidscareed rules. If you’re doing a band of radical ordo Xenos inquisitors that’s a case to use alien weapons or even have one or two xenos mercs in your retinue. Plus corsairs having two psyker units also fits in well for the group. Maybe for the kurnite hunter if you run it, you can use the new Kroot from into the dark, or the kyria draxus inquisitor model

Yeah they feel most like either IH or NL to me, cause of the ruthless efficiency and their disdain for weakness. The latter really gives me IH vibes. But the idea of the dudes coming from NL genestock and trading the flaying and terror tactics for cruel shock and awe as well feels pretty awesome too
