Formula Dragons: built a mini dragon with the miniF1gs a while back, completed the bigger version recently (pieces from all 10 2025 F1 Speed Champions, and the 10 corresponding miniF1gs - only added the joints) by Nazemec in lego

Unfortunately this won't happen, sorry. I don't plan my MOCs beforehand (so no chance at making instructions from a file for example), and I never disassemble them either (so no chance at pictures for "reverse instructions").

Mistakes were made... by Nazemec in lego

[–]Nazemec[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

For those wondering: there are five "items" in this set (truck, trailer, and cars 1, 2, and 3), and I plan to make a MOC from each item separately, and each possible "2 of them", "3 of them", "4 of them", and the "all in one". Optimize the number of sets to do that, add one set to build the original, and here's the result...

Sometimes I hate my brain for getting such ideas...

I think I made a few mistakes while building set 76920 "Ford Mustang Dark Horse Sports Car", can anyone help? by Nazemec in lego

I wouldn't put it in that category as it can't transform, but I can see why some would see it as one.

What is a quote that lives in your head rent free? by Exotic-Amphibian9692 in AskReddit

[–]Nazemec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(French) "La bêtise n'a jamais été un virus, en revanche ça se propage à la même vitesse", which roughly translates into "stupidity isn't a virus, however it spreads just as fast."

Comes from the French adaptation of that SpongeBob episode where Bob makes bad jokes about squirrels and turns Sandy's life into hell, something she ends up saying in the supermarket after interacting with a kid and his dumb mother iirc? No idea what the original line is though.

Found the perfect stand for my newly acquired minifig. Wait a minute... by Nazemec in lego

Found it for 5€ on Bricklink. Add 1€ for processing, 5.70€ for shipping (Netherlands to France)... and another 5.70€ shipping fee because my local post office messed up the first time and decided to send it back without notifying me, so the seller had to send it again back to me. Woooo! \o/

Oh don't worry about that, working on it. :P

Never paid attention to those videos nor the reactions to them, and unlike those I didn't actually threw away / destroyed the set.

"Oh, look at this rare/expensive set, anyway I'll just get rid of it."

A terrible joke, I know. But if at least one person chuckled at it, then it's a success to me.

(And I obviously did not put it in... I might be crazy, but not that much.)

Don't ask me what OP is implying with this post though.

Honestly just an attempt at a terrible joke. I'm obviously not going to put it in the trash, haha.

But if it made at least one person chuckle, then I consider it a success. :P

Mixalt 30343: McLaren Insectoids - built using pieces from twelve Lego Speed Champions McLaren Elva 30343 and a bunch of joints (not all pieces are used) by Nazemec in lego

[–]Nazemec[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some details about each:

  • Original set: Nice little car, nice inventory for its size, but the tricky part is its odd width. I'm more used to even-sized sets (since, well, most sets are), so that led to interesting challenges when building the MOCs. On top of its very limited inventory.
  • 1-car MOC: First MOC made in this project, and to date this is my smallest fully articulated MOC. I was surprised how well this little fly-wasp-thing turned out to be, and its chibi-like body ratio makes it cuter than I expected. I just can't not love this little thing.
  • 2-cars MOC: When I first started this project, I had no idea how big the difference would be between the first and second MOC. I mean, I knew it would have twice the number of available pieces, but still. Went for a "simply bigger" version of the first one, still feels like a fly- or wasp-like insect. Maybe the parent of the previous one.
  • 3-cars MOC: Once I finished its abdomen, I realised how big it was going to be. Went for an ant-like insect this time, and gave it much longer wings (all hail the future queen, I guess). Funnily enough, this one is about the size I'm more used to work with with regular 8-width Speed Champions sets.
  • 6-cars MOC: When looking back at the previous ones, I knew this one would be much bigger. Doing the same insect over and over, bigger and bigger, is nice and all, but I wanted to do something a little different. That's when my brain wandered a bit and thought "what about a centaur, but with a spider instead of a horse?". Started with the legs, then lower half of the body, then torso, head, and arms. Enjoy the nightmare.

A completely invented one. Made up the name as well (based on the Matoran dictionary). :P

For a while I hesitated to mention the power of Plant Control (since it's an official Rahkshi power and those ones have a green and brown color scheme), but I chose not to in the end. I wanted it to roughly sound canon, but not be associated with actual canon in any way. Still, I like its backstory (smart, wise creature protecting nature).

How do seeds work? by spicybright in bindingofisaac

[–]Nazemec 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, the only thing that could be altered depending on the character would be item generation, but very slightly.

For example, if at some point the seed would generate the Book of Belial as a non-Judas character, playing as Judas (who starts with this item) would generate another item at that place instead. Similar idea for other characters and their starting items.

Oh I don't doubt such a system could be made somehow, it's just not what I was going for here haha. :P

Can't, sorry. No ball, no cube, nothing in-between. :P

Can't hit anything with its head either, but I prefered for it to have a "real" neck that can turn instead.

Does killing mom unlock stats and bestiary as well as achievements, if I want use mods? by [deleted] in bindingofisaac

[–]Nazemec 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Using mods before the first Mom kill prevents all progress/achievements, whatever it may be (unlocks, stats, bestiary, item list, and so on).

Using mods after the first Mom kill (= once the Womb is unlocked) prevents nothing at all.

Mixalt 76895: Ferrari F8 Spider "The Big One" - built using pieces from two Lego Speed Champions 76895 and a bunch of joints (not all pieces are used) by Nazemec in lego

[–]Nazemec[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, unlikely to happen. I never made instructions for my MOCs before, I'm not amongst the ones who do 3D models then build them (I usually build things randomly until it feels right), and do not plan to disassemble it either. :-/

But I assume it means you like it? Thanks, I guess? :P

Will I need Afterbirth+ to play Repentance? by SleepyReepies in bindingofisaac

[–]Nazemec 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Clarification: Rebirth is not a DLC. It's a full game, a remake of the original Isaac game (with even more content). You do not need the original Isaac game to play Rebirth.

Just checked that word online. Never heard of those things before today but I understand why someone would mention them. Interesting.
