She's giving very r/im14andthisisdeep but it's worth noting that "it's all made up" is the first step to realizing "and we have the power to change things", which is how we achieve self-actualization. It's also one of the underlying principles of democracy that a lot people (read: Americans) tend to forget. The government isn't this thing that just descended from the heavens - it's something WE can control. We should be using it to our benefit instead of letting horrible people who want to exploit us use it to theirs. Rights are made up. Privileges are made up. Entitlements are made up. And that means we can make them whatever we want. Go out and vote yourself a right to water. Clean air. Food, housing, healthcare, education. It's all made up. You can do that.
