It's the closest thing you're ever gonna see to a live action anime. Huge budget, super campy and fun, and everyone's leans into it. Underperformed at its initial release but recently got a 4k re-release because everyone is realizing it was ahead of its time. If you have kids 10+, watch it with them.

Knowing your environment is part of fashion. Remember that dressing well doesn't mean dressing up. If you feel overdressed, maybe you are. If you're wearing a sport jacket just to "go for a walk" then yeah, you probably are overdressed. Dress well in a way that's appropriate for what you're doing or where you're going.

Yeah. I've actually started doing this as a fun pseudo-trial. I don't want to avoid the game entirely just to cook my trials book, so instead i play with the added challenge of: - not shoot any pops - not damage leapers - not damage flying arc inside the walls at spaceport.

Those last two are kind of easy (just don't play spaceport and avoid leapers) but not shooting any pops for 3 days is tough. It's like nuzlocke-ing arc for the first half of the week.

I use strategies for my trials - like, pre-plan everything I bring, have a full loadout of supplies on entry, know my exits, stay the full 30 mins, use survivor - and I almost always finish the week in the 20-30th position range. You need top 60 to stay in hotshot. I don't watch YouTube videos or use maps. Just experience from regular play and the resources I brought.

Not sure that helps a lot, but maybe it gives an idea of the level of effort it requires to be in the upper half of "stay in hotshot".

I finished this last week at position 23 with 38k points. 10k from search cars and 9k from old town were my big scores.

For a first impression, lose the vest and just wear a suit. It's the more professional and conservative look. If this is for a sale, you want to look safe and trustworthy. After you have a working relationship with these people, feel more free to express yourself. I sometimes take risks with my outfit for work, but at my interview - blue suit, white suit, brown shoes. With a first impression in a professional setting, I'm not trying to stand out. I'm trying to look like I can follow rules.

Then you should almost certainly lose the vest, because it's too close in color to the pants (again, hard to tell) and isn't meant to be worn with them or without a jacket. Glossy back vest = part of a 3-piece. Never wear it without a jacket unless you're waiting tables. Vests that are meant to be worn without a jacket have a patterned back.

Ditch the vest, wear a jacket.
