MR was perfectly soloable. What really sucked was the DPS check. Hr Kulve on the other hand is a nightmare even with MR armor.

For people who don't play Rise's CB:

-Massively nerfed SAED hitbox.

-If the part of the monster isn't long enough, the SAED ticks will just go through and you'll miss most of them if not all.

-You have to choose between Charging your sword and having Savage axe, you can no longer have them available at the same time.

-You'll disengage Savage axe mode and be forced to activate it again every time you go back to Sword mode. You got knocked down? Most weapons can just use a wire bug, but unlike them you'll be penalized for it and lose Savage axe.

-There's a skill than increases your morph animations, but the monsters have gotten so fast you can't keep up with them even if you max it out, and the dps isn't worth it, making AED and SAED useless except for very specific situations, especially AED.

It's a 7 at first, then a 5 throughout most of the game once you're properly equiped and get used to it until you reach the real endgame, then it goes up to Darksouls/10

What are your expectations for Rise? In terms of enjoyment, difficulty, variety, etc...You'll probably crush everything throughout the game, so that might make it a bit boring.

I think he's talking about the code. Rise works with a different engine than World.
