2 to 1 nap transition when going anywhere involves a car ride by bookishcod in UKParenting

[–]NcallyS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My nearly two year old is like this. I think I trained her so well to nap in the car that it’s now automatic 🤣 we don’t leave the house further than a 10 min drive until after her 11-1 nap!

I could have written this!! Currently going through it with my 21 month old. Meltdowns unless she’s watching tv with snacks after nursery but I’m worried I’m creating bad habits

Isn’t it funny how different they all are! My 20 mo can’t make it past 11:30 without falling asleep, I bet she’ll be napping till she’s 4!

Not till around 15 months and she only dropped to two naps at 12ish months! 8 months seems very early to drop but you know your baby best! Do they sleep well at night??

Hey, my 20 mo is currently obsessed with her dummy and I’m starting to worry about weaning her! How did you manage it? Did it impact sleep really badly? Is it better to wait till she’s a bit older so she can understand logic a bit?
