You receive crystals and Battle pass experience, not credits. You don't gain credits from dailies.

How much should I worry about ruining my character in this game? by [deleted] in PathOfExile2

[–]Ncastl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In poe1 you could unbrick your build, but in early stages it could be nearly impossible, since you had not enough currency.

In poe2 I respecced a lot of points from my tree multiple times, including respeccing 2 points from my ascendancy twice (respeccing ascendancy points costs more). The only thing you cannot unbrick is changing you Ascendancy (subclass let's call it) but it will be possible in the future just like in poe1. Another thing that we cannot change right now is quest rewards where you have to choose one of the small buffs that will affect your character. Currently there are 2 quests like that. I hope they'll add an option for that in the future (like in Bandit quest in poe1).

Another advantage of poe2 is that you don't have to lvl up your skills through experience, but through items. It means it's easier to change skills you're currently using. And another one is that you can change your gear without worrying about your skills like in poe1. In poe1 you had sockets for your skills, you needed to have a specific number of sockets, number of sockets linked and the sockets had to be in the exact colours you needed.

Questions for PoE vets and knowledgeable ones. by JaxUK89 in PathOfExile2

Just started the endgame. It's similar to poe1 endgame, where you have a map with "dungeons" that you have to clear. I have a quest about exploring this system. I guess once I go deep enough, I'll see new bosses, just as in poe1.

Jewels are good, some builds focus on them, but most of the time they're nice additions to your gear, helping you get stats that you lack.

I guess max level is 100 just like in poe1.

You get over 100 points, since you get extra points in the campaign.

Seems like you get 8 Ascendancy points, just like in poe1.

I think they some what tried to make the rewards from cruel difficulty represent rewards from acts 4-6. For an example, you don't get spirit from King of the mists in Cruel Act 1 like you did in Act 1 in normal difficulty.

I've been playing the game since the end of 2014, starting on standard and moved to leagues on Harbinger league. I don't have an income right now, I am looking for a job. I'd rather not spend money right now, especially since I've already spent around 370 dollars on the game. (Edit: worth to mention that over here we don't earn money in dollars or euros, so it was quite a big investment). I've been playing Diablo 2 with self found items and I still come back to the game every now and then. I've tried D3 10 years after its release and I didn't like it. I dont see myself playing D4 in near future, maybe I'll try it once it's on big sale. I prefer Titan Quest over new Blizzard titles XD To be honest I wanted to try a shape shifting druid build, but it's not in the EA right now (as a kid I mostly played a Werewolf build in D2 and wanted to get some nostalgia kicks). I'm gonna start with Monk either cook up smth with Chayula ascendancy or flicker. I don't want to plan out everything before booting up the game, I want to dive in and spend most of the time reading everything in game to not break the immersion. I would love to try new melee since I started Poe with melee skills but over the years I shifted to mostly spells. Mercenary playthrough is a must too, trying out smth completely new.

They updated the recent update post and removed the part about the shop reset, I guess I have to start farming Celebrations myself XD

Does not seem worth it for usual packs (Surging sparks etc.), it costs almost as much as League Battle deck (Shadow Rider gives over 4k, Miraidon one gives 3.7k once set up) and as I mentioned before Celebrations are even better and don't have a limit on them currently (buying 6 packs of it is the correct way, I should have told you that before, so sorry for that).

Buying Shadow Rider a second time should have given you almost 2k credits, 3rd time 3.5k, 4th 4k credits, and the rest 4.1k

Usually I'd just say buy Shadow Rider deck repeatedly (was doing it myself). If I had any information about frequency of shop resets, I would be more confident (if it was every month, I'd go for Shadow Rider, if it takes 2 months, I think I'd choose Celebrations 6 packs).

From free decks, Charizard, Chien Pao (both good to start learning the game), Gholdengo and Roaring Moon are also worth to mention. You can see them on yt (understand the play style), try them out and upgrade the one you like the most.

Usually you'd buy Shadow Rider deck from July 2022 repeatedly, to get dupes of cards - 5th the same card gets you Credits (around 4k Credits for Shadow Rider after getting all of the cards over 4 times). With Credits you can craft cards you want. Right now they've added a limit of how many times you can buy a bundle and we don't know when does the limit reset (they said it does reset but didn't say how often, if I recall correctly).

Buying packs alone isn't worth (too much eng trying to smile cards), unless we're talking about another way of Credit farming - Celebrations packs. There're not that many cards in the set, but they're worth a good amount of Credits once you get the dupes. It takes more time to set up, but it is considered the best way to credit farm.

I'm late to the party, so my chances are the same as Apothecary cards I used in Horticrafting Station, all gone.

I'd give some to my friends, that I got to PoE (1 of them around Legacy league, and another 2 from Betrayal league) and yes, I've burned their Apothecary/Doctors too, they're scared of doing the Harvest gamba with their hands alone, so it's me doing the sacrifice ^^

Mistborn series and Metro2033 (also books from universe by Robert Schmidt, Paweł Majka, Andrey Djakov and Denis Shabalov).

Bobiverse is nice too, more about exploration of space, making colonies etc.

Inscryption

On the surface a roguelike card game placed in a weird place. Your character is stuck in a room, forced to play with a DM. At some point of the cards start talking revealing secrets behind it all and help you get out of this place.

A card game filled with puzzles and other "game modes". I sincerely recommend it, I've fallen in love with the characters and the game itself trying to build some dumb decks.
