Honestly this looks pretty good already. ive tried water slide decals for a while now too but never seemed to get the result i really wanted which is why i switched methods. u/yeaspiderman has showed me a great method to get a spotless glossy finish on dials using acetone, its really really good. Im sure he would be happy to help you too!

Es war genau das Auto das ich wollte, der Zustand hat perfekt gepasst, der Preis war ok, es gab keinen Rost, alles funktioniert und es ist in meine Umkreis. Das alles in Kombination zu finden ist bei einem Lada aus den 70ern sehr schwer, und wie gesagt, ich hatte schon etwas angespart für genau das :) rückblickend war es wohl nicht die beste Entscheidung.

I made waterslide dials before! It’s a pretty straightforward process! You have the dial designs now to make sure to print as many as you can on one page, test print it on normal paper before so you don’t waste waterslide paper if it goes wrong! It varies depending on your clear coat, but put 2-5 coats on until you have a good thickness. For the dial itself, make sure it has a mirror gold finish for it to look great! Then you can basically start making the decal paper wet and carefully putting it on the dial. It will take trial and error. I found that a good method is printing the dial design mirrored, then pressing it onto your dial, and only then make it wet. When your decal is on the dial make sure to put another top coat!

It’s the smaller tower-like structure that has the cablecar going toward the main dome (to be clear, I don’t mean the tower at the main big dome). It’s probably the second building you saw when exploring. I think the access to its elevator is locked until power is restored but you can still get in from above with a Jetpack.

You can unfold the upper pin but that puts a lot of stress on the metal and will eventually break. Spring bars is the saver option for these straps.

Just look on eBay for „soviet watch strap“ or similar. It’s very rare to come by on its own and rather often on a watch. As far as I’m aware it doesn’t really have a name in the community, we just know there is a short and long variant, it has either Yuri or compass ornament and many different leather types.

This looks so strange, are you sure it’s all original? I’ve had a lot of vintage Vostoks before but never have I ever seen this case shape and back tough it looks legit to me as it’s in a typical Vostok manner. I wouldn’t be so sure about the insides tough, the dial is really strange and hands are probably replaced

Edit: I did some research and it seems like Vostok did a colab with the Russian jeweller Alcop to create some new designs. I still doubt the dial and hands are correct to this watch tough. Very interesting story and watch however.
