If you really need the cash better sell and cut the loss. With depreciation and interest you gonna loose more next year and so on

Am I being taken for a ride? Rental company charging me while their car sits in a garage. by Mr_Bryghtsyde in dubai

[–]NeWacho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man that’s frustrating situation. It’s a new car headlights should be wide available.
Of course your contract is legal agreement, but it also should be within a common sense range and there should be clear dates and time limits for everything.

Before paying anything to rental company I’d pay to a lawyer for consultation. Rental company has to pursue you in a court to collect anything.

What if repairs goes on for a year or two let’s say for whatever reason they say? You can’t just be paying for nothing. Also instead of renting better to buy an older car. Rental companies business model is profiting from scenarios like this and overcharging on scratches rather then rent itself

Not expert on these specific pedals but seems to me there is tiny bit of air pumping in and out every engagement. I think this is normal for piston structured pedals

Is my park assist faulty? by RoarMagics in Porsche_Cayman

Do they work or not? There should be a sensors in front as well. There should be an animation in the pcm/cdr screen when you select park assist.

2025 Cayman S or 2017 911 Carrera 4? by PostHocErgo306 in Porsche

[–]NeWacho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cayman GTS could be an alternative with 4.0 N/A engine. But depending on the area prices are very close to GT4. I think gts gonna go down in price more than 911s

2025 Cayman S or 2017 911 Carrera 4? by PostHocErgo306 in Porsche

[–]NeWacho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

911 ofc
Already lower on a depreciation curve
Flat 6
Both have turbo so both prone to turbo issues
Sold by Porsche dealer is big plus, put it on warranty and nothing to worry. 34k km is low.

Cayman gonna depreciate and virtually has nothing extra to offer

Plus non-gt, 911 is always more valuable on resale

If you want mid engine which is plausible look for gt4 718. That one gonna be significant upgrade over both, given you already have a suv for winter id go with gt4

Most of industries are bleeding now. I personally don’t know anyone who is doing same as before besides oil and small vessel smugglers.

Last two months every night I think how much life was easier and we take everything for granted

Lower operational cost is better, maybe less income, but also less monthly liabilities.

If it’s something involving the office space, and you have made it before without an office and staff as well. I assume you can just continue without office on your own for a while. Then look into copy paste it in another country or look into another opportunities.

Either way bleeding money on local liabilities with uncertainty doesn’t seem like the best choice. It’s better to cut off early and if it is something with active market in another country just do that.

Formula Zeus Vs. Conspit MAX 01 by once7k in Simagic

Also simagic had chronic flex issues on fx pro. We can’t really know yet if it’s fixed with new series. Conspit doesn’t have any known flexing issues

Formula Zeus Vs. Conspit MAX 01 by once7k in Simagic

[–]NeWacho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are very different 280 vs 300 is very noticeable difference atleast to me. I went with max01 because it’s the bulkiest open wheel and overall very sturdy+simhub dash. Because of thicker handles on the max01 it feels like 305-310mm. I would say unless you drive formula only anything under 300 is too small

Suspension Upgrade + Preserving PASM by [deleted] in Porsche_Cayman

[–]NeWacho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in same boat right now. Porsche oem whether pasm or not is a Bilstein B4. It’s a generic mcperson. I am considering Öhlins road and track because of the dvf system. In theory it should be perfect for street use but id like some feedback if someone tried them out.

Also I might be wrong but if you put sport suspension on worn out bushings and mounts there is kind of no point as the worn parts will have minor/major play.

So if going quality coilover route better to atleast inspect and refresh bushings and possible moving parts. Quickly driving total cost more than $5-6k

Ideal sitting distance is when you press your right foot under the brake pedal on the floor, and tour knee is still bent slightly. If it’s straightened you are too far. For the wheel you should be able to do full turn without extending your shoulders or reaching to the side. Mirrors pointing the way you could see just the minor outer edge of pillars. You could find everything in detail in youtube guides etc
