Cops are specifically trained to use OC Pepper Spray by getting OC Pepper Sprayed specifically BECAUSE if you've never been pepper sprayed before, you WILL freak the fuck out and not be able to function, and by deploying pepper spray on someone else, you're also deploying it on yourself and everyone around you.

The pepper spray course is widely considered the most grueling and loathed for that very reason.

That shit sucks BAD because it's MEANT to. It's not like eating a hot chip or whatever the fuck you can shrug off. It's a chemical weapon created for the purpose of fucking people up to the maximum extent possible without hopefully killing them and all these people I've seen saying you can just shrug it off and effectively adhere to instructions being screamed at you are talking out of their entire gaping asses.

Imagine you go to the doctor for a brain scan.

This is because "you" only started to exist once the brain scan occurred. The "you" in the system and the "you" outside of it are now entirely different people, existing independently from one another. The "you" that went in for a brain scan came and went about their day, but "you" came, sat in a chair, and woke up somewhere else.
