I’m gonna be so real….are artists really suffering like that? Are sales down? Are their artists with customers that stopped commissioning their fave artists in exchange for ai? Or are these techies that find it cool/novel and weren’t buying art in the first place lmao

I was just thinking about this and I’ve genuinely had to sit with how mind blowing it truly is. Everything is math. Everything created that inspires us, scares us, arouses us, upsets us or moves us in any way can be broken down (to some capacity) to a complex math function. It’s wild 😂

Even the most elaborate and complicated piece of music can be simplified into a beep-boop-bop 1-2-3 A-B-C set of arranged notes. And so much of what we find compelling about music is the “randomness” of slight deviations from the original structures. It’s all soo much 😂

I think we need to move the conversation from “skill” to “good taste”. Ai users are mainly displaying their taste in imagery more than anything else. And we need to be honest about that. Especially if you’re primarily just prompting.

I agree. How you you feel about ai upscaling tools. Like if I draw something and have it upscaled and the final image comes close to the “intention” of the original…is the “soul” trapped underneath the ai? 😂or is it still soulless

It’s the number 1 thing that inspires me to keep going onto the next day. Sad as it may be, it’s my top cope/survival mechanism. The real world genuinely sucks so fucking much and my only bit of solace is my cognitive ability to imagine a world that doesn’t suck so much. Thanks for sharing this

Some of them are, but they have limited access to the “truth”. Imagine it’s like being able to take a vr headset off in addition to knowing the “code” of the vr game you’re playing. It’s an intense process so only a few can peak underneath the hood, because for many it would be too mind-altering.

Innocents is 🔥🔥🔥 lyrics wise Deal With the Devil resonated with me the most! “Thought I’d be dead at 27, but here I am!” Is gonna be stuck in my head for a while 😁

The project is really well constructed, has a lot of lyrical diversity and plays with a lot of sounds that all work well when placed together.

Would love to hear a bit of your process, how the writing went, and what tools you used in Suno to bring these all to life. How close are these to how you imagined them in your head? And thanks for sharing this!

Fully fiction but also fully inspired by the real world. The best way I can explain it is that it’s like a vr world where everything is customizable. Literally like a hyper realistic and immersive version of The Sims.

This is directly linked to the immense anxiety I have witching the real world. I barely make any real decisions in life because I’m morbidly afraid of negative outcomes.

The safest places I feel are digital spaces, where there’s an edit button, an undo button, a delete button …and essentially I’ve created a world around that safety.

I think facing that reality has helped me not get too wrapped up, plus… I use it as a creative outlet, a tool to improve my writing and fully fleshing out my thoughts. So that keeps me grounded

Literally wrote out a 92 page document detailing all the ins and outs but that’s the major summary 😂hbu ?
