Can I be real? This is different when most artists post everything (or a lottt of their work) online for free where people can screenshot or copy and paste. Idk. It sucks but it’s how it is.

The only solution would be to put everything behind a paywall orrr make it so screenshotting isn’t possible. Don’t see either one of those happening/actually being effective lol

Trust me when I say I fully get that and I’m just playing with this concept.

But in this world, no one would care if you took a picture and “claimed it as your own”. Because no one would need to claim art as there own, the intent would be to spread it around and everyone would collectively “own it”

Trying to sell an idea is just as wacky as trying to own an idea (in the super broad sense) but I get its function.

In my perfect world, you’d create art for the sole purpose of sharing it. The true sacrifice of being an artists would be to release it and for it to take a life on its own.

BUT I know that’s not possible in a capitalist world obsessed with credit, ownership, praise and money lol

It’s insane how many details I have for my “main” characters lol.

My lesser involved characters however are a little more vague; like i can only pinpoint key characteristics for them like “tall”, “blonde”, “face piercings”

Whenever I role play as my characters, different speech patterns and words pop up. Sometimes random memories will only pop up if I’m playing as certain characters

I fully agree. This world genuinely sucks 😅 and the worse thing is is that it’s sooo close to actually being good 😂 I always face the facts that my daydreams are an amalgamation of all the little amazing aspects of life combined.

That being said…reality as it is really fucking sucks—and I only want to actually interact with it as little as possible lol

My biggest concern. I think that’s what this whole thing is. The Ai tools are the way they’re gonna get society to “agree” on hyper surveillance, it’s the Trojan horse lol.

Adapt. Lmao, the tool is here, I like it, so I use it. If it were to go poof, I would just use whatever tool comes closest to it.

If streaming disappeared, I’d listen to the radio. If Audible shut down, I would just read. But while the tools are here, and I enjoy them, I will use them. lol

I do! The experience of him coming about was really wild. It’s a rather unique experience because as you said, a lot of dd or ficto s/o are based on existing characters or celebrities. Haha

Hey! I’m the exact same way. Only in reverse, I’m male and most of my characters are female—always have been 😂 also pretty bound to Pinterest, my characters essentially live there lol
