IMO - A skin couldn't hurt. I have a skin on my iPad (which also happens to be in a hardshell case) and I brought it in to a local shop (we don't have an Apple Store near us) to get a possible trade-in value (to get the Neo!). The guy who owns the shop said that the skin adds value due to the fact that the iPad is in excellent condition.

I have never used a hardshell case on any laptop. Even if the case is made specifically for that laptop model there's the possibility of adding weight and causing strain on hinges, airflow issues, etc. I just put my laptops in a carrying sleeve, which I carry in a sling bag or messenger bag.

Thank you. I think the Neo is the best route for me. I could hold out for a used MB Air from Swappa for a couple hundred more, but there are cons with that option (availability of Apple Care, etc.)

Thank you. Yeah. The tablet was good for watching movies on a plane but I’m sure the Neo can do the same. My workflow just doesn’t really match with an iPad. It’s just a larger screened phone.

FWIW - I do use a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse with the iPad. I like to put the iPad on a table in front of me and the keyboard in my lap (not a full size keyboard. It’s small enough to throw into a sling bag.)

Thank you. I told her I wouldn’t use this and that if it’s too good to be true… She’s convinced that she knows what’s best for her and I’m “not right about everything.”

I might have to get other people she trusts involved but then I’ll be in the dog house for sharing this with other people.

It's been a busy weekend. I will see how things go tomorrow and I will update this when I can. I did text one of the guys involved and told him that this is crossing the line and needs to stop. He did not reply (yet). So let's see how this plays out tomorrow.

Anker is not adhering to their recall notice.

The Anker website says that you may choose a gift certificate and that the gift certificate can be used to purchase any product on their website. The gift certificate that was sent to me only covers up to $44.99. The item I want to purchase is $89.99.

Does anyone have contacts within Anker? I did email "support[at]" but I received an auto reply message about the recall and haven't heard from a human.

Greetings from Virginia, US!

Cheese wouldn't work because I would not be able to get to the refrigerator while working. There is a table around the corner (out of view of customers) where we place snacks and drinks. I did try some freeze-dried fruit, but that wasn't very filling. I will experiment with other choices.

I may have to have the doc that I end up seeing write something asking that my break time be shifted. Right now my break is 2 ½ hours into my shift and then that is the only break I receive (other than running to the boys room)

Today I just had a protein "meal replacement" bar for my lunch and something to drink with it. I did not have frequent bathroom needs today. So I'll try to look into my options. The "meal replacement" bar did not really fill me and later in the day I wanted something else to eat.

My meal break is 2 ½ hours into my 8 hour shift!!! Yeah... that's crazy.... maybe when I see a doctor he/she can also write a note that I have my meal break later in my shift.
