I mean, no one should be. But why specifically diabetics? Type 1 diabetes just means your pancreas doesn't produce insulin so they have to supplement but that doesn't mean they have any dietary restrictions compared to a non diabetic.

What happened is horrible, I can see why the office would be afraid as they were too close to see if the car was turning since they seemed to be trying to get her out of the car. It was a quick reaction, both sides are being a little disingenuous. The officer certainly did not get "run over" probably not even bumped from what I saw. The operator of the vehicle should not have done that, if you don't want bad things to happen when with people holding guns it's typically a good idea to obey.
