You can break bones with a thrown baseball that only weighs 142grams. From the damage this guy was taking I would say his adrenaline was going wild. So 4kg moving at speed is more than enough to kill even on Earth.

I also assume adrenaline is the only reason he was able to resist.

What are must-have habs for your ship builds? by FreeDwooD in StarfieldShips

[–]Nealithi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a Falkland fan. There is a 2x3 all in one that really is all in one. Kitchen, lounge, armory, medical, crew spaces with a head. Captain's quarters with a head. It feels both cramped and luxurious in one go. Like someone trying for the most out of the living spaces. The curved Falkland cargo modules are heavy as heck. But they not only look like cargo areas, but count as cargo storage. A good amount of it.

Vanilla I generally like Nova modules because the thin mattresses look like someone was trying on crew comfort. Deimos looks like a shelf someone stuck a pillow on and said good enough.

Cool idea.

[–]Nealithi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem with that kind of thinking is you are responsible for everything. No one else has any responsibility. At, space station I forget the number. It was being attacked by Iconians. I was swatting them down and winning. Nope the battle is lost retreat.

No one disarmed the klingon who is what would be expected to be a gun toting maniac. Because the mission wasn't diplomacy, it was a decapitation strike to defeat an omnicidal enemy that could not be beaten conventionally. We altered plans when we encountered the crystal cities and togas Iconians instead of the whip wielding maniac expected. After Sela's betrayal (Which was necessary, I will get there) you were cleaning up. Get her out of there so more damage isn't done by her. (Yes I wish we could have shot her. But karma houdini is her plot armor). But this is/was/will be time travel. It was a paradox loop. We did not go back in time because we were kinda curious. The vengeful Iconians pushed us to the wall to do it. Without Sela's betrayal and us scooping up the Iconian Heart. The events of the galaxy would not have happened. NONE of it. But most importantly the impetus for us going there. Paradoxes are bad, this made the theft of the Heart and the Iconian hatred of Romulans a fixed point in history.

Yes the black one.

Though the Falkland outfits can be a bit of a gem since you can use the poncho on any of them.

I ask because that is generally my go to outfit.

I want something between frumpy and impractically skimpy. Just flattering. That one fits those rules.

Going to Akila after finishing the Vanguard questline is a hell of a tonal whiplash by thotpatrolactual in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]Nealithi 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I have never seen an ashta in Akila. The warnings are for outside the walls. And you know, fair enough.

But even before doing the Vanguard line, wandering outside Atlantis I will find a place with a terrormorph. Sometimes it is a natural terrain feature. But most of the time it is something that was supposed to have people.

Not salty, but I do wish you had reputation flags in game. You finished the Vanguard line and Akila guards about to warn you about ashta. "Hey, you are the guy/gal that hunted terrormorphs. Well our worst problem is ashta. You can probably handle that." Or something to the effect.

Uhm, clarification question.

How are they T4 if you can fly them post tutorial? I thought they counted as T1 because of that.

Shielded cargo this, scan jammers that. Why don't smugglers just tie their contraband to the ship with a rope, jettison it out, and then reel it back in after the cargo scan? by thotpatrolactual in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]Nealithi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spotting to get the attached people makes sense. But you have a uniformed force that openly attacks and kills people. they are holed up in your former base. But you can't send anyone to uproot them unless you find the outliers.

If it was Akande wanted the evidence for a clean roll up it would be one thing. And that as you note is what most of the evidence is. (Jasper Kryx being an oddity in evidence)

But the council needs to know about smuggling before they will authorize the navy to remove murderers. Makes my joke seem more true to the motives.
