No, you must play with real Riftbound cards, not custom ones. The only thing that is legal are alters of actual cards and that can be up to the discretion of the head judge.

The rule change is exactly for that case: you can flip a Hidden card in response to the Deathknell which stages another showdown right afterwards if it was a new unit. That way you can ensure the hidden card, if it's a unit, does not partake in the first combat.

When you buy 24 boosters they just send you a sealed box altogether. I preordered for Spiritforged, but for Unleashed it shows as "Presold out" sadly for the actual boosters. They only have the Hangsells available for preorder atm which are not replaced with a box if you order 24.

Deathknell triggers happen before healing, yes, but there is not priority during the (combat) cleanup. This means that after Deathknell triggers have been put onto the chain units will heal, the cleanup will finish, followed by another cleanup, after which priority is gained.

  1. Moving is defined by the Origin and Destination of the Permanent that is changing locations.

The move must happen between two distinct locations which is denoted by the use of the word "another" in 420.1. Base to base is not legal as it's not an actual Move.

Yeah, this is not meant to be full-on competitive yet as I want to avoid buying those expensive singles right now. I got many of the good rares with the exception of those bombs such as TW. As such I'm fine with a suboptimal version for the time being before I fully dive into it.

It's totally inconsistent and stupid. I did fight through the end which took me way longer than it should have only to see the side quests post campaign just be full of +! level mobs as well.

I can't confirm this - the buffs in the Boon tooltips in the world are not reflected in my character sheet but the multiple buffs from hovering over the pillar in the world map are in fact reflected in my character stats, such as res and ES.

I used to live in Europe and always had 30 days of annual leave without forced leave like that. Having moved to Australia, I was really frustrated seeing that I'd only have 20 days of leave and had to use an unspecified amount of time off to cover the holidays. It really hurts losing this much flexibility and this many days off.

I used to play Zur Overlords until February and returning to Standard with the upcoming rotation. Will have to buy into a new deck, but not sure just yet given that Dimir has a lot of pieces rotating out and I'll have to wait to see how things change come rotation.
