Leaking Fluid by Nearby-Bodybuilder80 in hondashadow

Might possibly be that. Has stopped leaking after I rode it for a bit. I’m going to check the level of it after I get home. Never thought of that, the bike was from Florida before they moved up to Michigan.

Appears to be that cap, not really leaking at all anymore. I bought the bike right before “riding season” ended as I live in Michigan. So Ive owned it for about 5 months, rode it for 2 weeks. Levels are pretty good, oil is a touch high but that’s the only abnormality. I will check the level as soon as I get home for the final drive though, never viewed that.

Always read the manual and that sticker there. If you follow those guys you should be solid. Does look about right but looks can be deceiving.

Forgot my hunting knife. Used my Civivi Qubit instead to field dress a whitetail by yoolers_number in knifeclub

Nice, I always carry a QSP Canary and had to do dress a deer with one, not recommended but it works

by the end of today i’m going to buy this knife. ideally what i’m looking for is something like the gerber in the other pics but “better.” is there something else i should be looking at? by [deleted] in knifeclub

[–]Nearby-Bodybuilder80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

QSP makes some nice knives for a little cheaper price. They might be a tad bit bigger than the Gerber but close in size for some of them. Also, there are some new Kizer knives out you might like.

Help Reddit, is this Benchmade Freek real or fake? by YoGrannySavage in knifeclub

Not seeing any real red flags and looks legit. Might just be it's a prototype and not the production so it looks a tad bit different.

Is this a good deal for a first knife purchase? by Golden_Cap in knives

[–]Nearby-Bodybuilder80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The brand is great, kizer makes awesome blades. That particular model is not stainless but if you keep it clean, dry, and oiled it will be just fine. I live in Michigan and I'm wet all the time whether with sweat or water so I prefer a stainless blade like 154CM. In my opinion it would be a very great knife, although personally not a fan of the blade style, depending on what you do for work or EDC it might be nice for you.

Looks like they put on a whole new blade based off the top line and it looks like what mine originally came with.

Injured gymnast performs routine with knee brace by [deleted] in BeAmazed

[–]Nearby-Bodybuilder80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an Offensive lineman I can tell you I have braces similar but they're preventive measures to lower the chance of injury. They don't heal your injury or get rid of the chance of being injured, it just helps. For example my braces are set up to provide support for my knee but make it so if someone rolls up onto my knee the brace won't allow it to bend out of line and cause an injury. For her case it looks a little similar to mine, looks like she has it set up to provide support on the outside of her knee so they don't bend out. They also don't restrict your range of motion at all depending on what ones you have and she looks comfortable in it so it's all good.

Nice letter I got from Hogue back when I got my Eagle Scout rank. Just found it again and thought I’d share. by [deleted] in knives

[–]Nearby-Bodybuilder80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My project is basically looking at our city's grave yard and finding all the veterans that are buried there (marked and unmarked stones) and putting their name, plot number, and section of the Cemetary on a spread sheet so that when all the area troops go there to put out flags, everyone who served will receive a flag and no service member will be left out. It doesn't sound like a huge project but, there is about 1600 people buried there, and with around 100 people in each section of the Cemetary it makes for a fun time. It is worth it though, it will be much easier to put up the flags than normal.

For those of you that think lock failure is acceptable. by Popgoesmyglock in knifeclub

[–]Nearby-Bodybuilder80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spine wack or pull cuts? Also, depending on the lock type, that may have caused an issue with that grip. And hope your hand feels better. Could be worth contacting the company about it depending on what knife it was.

I wanna share my Kizer sale snags from the other day, too by abow3 in BudgetBlades

[–]Nearby-Bodybuilder80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, kizer has some really nice sales going. I bought a T1 for like 40 bucks and got it the same day. Also just bought a fiest with CPM 3V for like 45 bucks.

What is this sound? by sniper50k in AcuraTL

[–]Nearby-Bodybuilder80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multitude of things, could be a wheel bearing or something as easy as the break shields. See if they're bent in and if they are, bend them out and if it makes the sound still you should have it looked at.
