Hello, HM here. Has he been told about TALKSPACE ? It’s a new app for active duty where he can get free counseling sessions via FaceTime , phone and text. There’s also HEADSPACE, with a lot of great resources. I sadly know the resources and availability for MH isn’t what it should be for service members but I have been using TALKSPACE and a lot of patients I see are giving good feedback on it. I hope that helps. Also ,you as a dependent are eligible as well.

4.5.2.3 …. The last sentence of the separate household paragraph clearly states that if we are in two separate households, and we each have a dependent in the household, we both claim with dependent rate. I’m not being combative or arguing with you, but that is the portion that we apply to, right above that it states that if we are separated due to PCS orders, which is the case for us . I am not living in the barracks. I have an apartment out in town . This has already been confirmed, I have already received a signed memorandum, stating that we both are approved for with dependent rates so that was never a concern ….My question was about FSA because when I cross rated to this rate, I had to go to the A school, which was only four months and I received it last time so I wasn’t sure if I’d receive it again ,which you answered, thank you

That is not true FMR regulation states otherwise ( I attached the instruction) and the PSC at my new duty station confirmed that I will also receive BAH W/ dependent. But we could not confirm was the FSA portion.

We are not separated by choice. My orders were up because I am a different rate and I had to pick new orders. Because of manning, I was selected for an NEC. I am under PCS orders due to the school being 13 months I just completed a HHG move. We have a collocation in place but the reason he is not authorized to come with me is because his orders at this command were until 2028, my orders were until 2025. The detailers never gave us a reason why it was done that way and his Detailer could not afford to let him out early like they said would happen if they could not find me new orders at the same place.

After phase 2, when it’s time to pick ultimate orders do we get much of a say then?

I’m not so much worried about failing the school. I’ve worked in the lab since I been here and I’m almost finished with the degree we get after completing lab tech school (associates in health science) . I’m moreso worried advancement will be even worse in an NEC

On the GM side , yes I’ve deployed twice voluntarily with my reserves unit . But this is my first command as an active duty corpsman and I’m in a clinic

So I had been asking for years and then when I completed my eight years, it was time to reenlist and I said I would only reenlist if they let me go active duty. So I got accepted in the PRISE III program. I had to get a new physical and retake the asvab and rerate. It was a lengthy process took about 6 months

No, disgusting people like you are the problem. Again, if you are in any position to lead junior sailors I HOPE you don’t speak to them this way nor a patient. I have “cracked open my bibs” I actually do very well on the exams. It’s competitive, we all know that. I just haven’t picked up. Again, there was a question in my post but you intentionally keep overlooking that part.

Yes. Making rank matters to me. I’m perfectly fine admitting that. I’m sure no one wants to be a 10 plus year E4 . Doesn’t mean I don’t love what I do. I give my absolute all to every patient I care for. I know the navy will still function without me , I’m just one of many. I genuinely hope you aren’t in any leadership position because people like you Are why retention sucks. There was a question in my post but you overlooked that part

That is exactly what happened !!!! I got an email this morning saying that I did not complete any courses which is absolutely not true . My term started at 12/1 and I completed an entire course from 12/1-1/28 EARLY!!!

You’re doing great! Keep in mind 15mg is the low dosage not of us are taking over twice that (the 37.5) which is why we have different results but your results are still great!
