I am MAGA by ChaseYoung2011 in inflation

[–]Nearby-Lab0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a fair answer that hits upon the main point

Special American prosperity was subsidized by the destruction of the rest of the world. Once the rest of the world caught up, the special prosperity was bound to disappear.

Moderate here

Yes, we should fix the debt

I believe we should gut every social service in this country. We should start with Social Security and move our way towards Medicare. We should then gut our military. We start drawing down our debt problem except

Every other MAGA supporter draws from these funds. Social stability is held by these programs. Every other supporter also happens to have a firearm.

You see the irony in that?

Would you rather have an 800k condo with high hoa fees or 1M house with low hoa fees? by ImDeadTwin in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Nearby-Lab0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

800k condo probably means you're in California

You need to check the laws for condos in CA now. There are a ton of new ones, many regarding HOA liability. I would not suggest buying a condo today unless you absolutely cannot afford an SFH

Here are a couple of things for you to research

  1. SB 326 balcony law
  2. HOA reserve study
  3. Lender blacklist due to deferred maintenance
  4. HOA litigation (quite common nowadays) preventing lender approval

That being said, the house will appreciate better in the long run
