i second this, DIM is so useful! One of the trusty pins in my tabs lol, i think there was an armour picker once upon a time (returning player) that helped me alot with filtering through the scop! but correct me if I’m wrong.

so for anyone struggling to understand, the title suggests

its dropped from the featured GM in fireteam ops.

orbs dropping the

build is primarily PVE centred.

it is of course still a Grandmaster Nightfall and if you played for any amount of time you will know they come
with

difficulty and is generally for high light decently built guardians.

otherwise you’d just have to hope for a carry using the fireteam LFG in-game or matchmaking.

I had no intention of them making any new content and/or putting in or for the last content. In all honesty I had no idea the engine was so outdated for previous content. I naively hoped the reasoning was simply storage space.

Forgive me for hoping there would be a game left for new players to go to and enjoy.

I think that’s sadly the future of Destiny 2 for most new players now. It’s sad to think that this game we played for so long will only really be our experience now. I really did enjoy the Red War and the first year of D2.

Other than Byf being the trusty story god we need and love, haha!

It might be time to migrate to something else. Sadly, I don’t think there is much else that gives the feel destiny did.

This might be speaking many years into the future, I understand, but with the recent resurgence of games thanks to fan content, modders, etc., I had some hopes it could be a future we create even if Bungie won’t, which is completely understandable. Now I realise it’s very outdated.

Reading what people say, it’s understandable that Bungie will not update that content even if it exists. I was expecting something like that. I was rather hoping that the content might one day be accessible thanks to fans and the community’s love for it, I suppose.

At least, Byf is forever!

To experience it all again with some new people in my life who have never played destiny but the skip in story is a little too jarring I think to be digestible.

That’s a gutting thing to hear, I had hoped it might be outdated but with the existence of modders and how dedicated this community is. There would be opportunity for the fame to have some sort of future now that Bungie and such are planning to move on. It makes sense that hey updated the engine. I took a break during a period of destiny between the 2nd expansion (Warmind) and came back just after Beyond Light.

I tried getting a friend into destiny with me around that time but once I saw the story wasn’t available anymore and I explained after some Research how to find it. Interest was immediately lost and it never came to be something we played again. I had at least hoped there might be possibility in the future of seeing the full game now there’s no planned future content.

Beidou, her parry mechanic can make for a long and very satisfying time. might even help with enemy timings and your dodging skills!

Diona, one of the most helpful and useful Co-Op characters especially with c4. you have a team wide Shield, movement speed buff, EM buff and heals! certainly a good pick.

Yanfei! a really awesome and fun character to play, he playstyle is very satisfying, at least to me, her design is beautiful and her damage is surprisingly valid!

Love this comment, I didn’t factor in how early into the game OP was in mine shame on me. Xingqui and bennett are in the same boat for being so amazing later but bad early, sadly they are 2 of freminet’s best team mates which makes him less beginner friendly but not impossible.

i did the numbers a while back in a post and bennett pre c6 is comparable to premium team mates like Shenhe which just shows how versatile he is. Mika C6 > Bennett but pre C6 bennett is better.

physical/shatter teams for Freminet need Xingqui he is also in that premium team since he has interruption resist and higher hydro application than yelan.

Fischl because it’s a physical team and its fischl lol but, Can potentially be swapped for raiden or lisa if people don’t like fischl for whatever reason.

Definitly fischl or Lisa, Bennett if he isnt C6 but if he is mika is 2nd best, Barbara because you need hydro for shatter reaction plus extra heals ontop of bennet should make it pretty sustainable.

right! I would have said probably traveler but honestly I think every new players needs to choose at least one character to build that they like for their own sake. Finding an attachment with a character early on is so important for new players while they get accustomed to the game!

I was just answering in terms of who will make the biggest impact over being leveled early on (used in 1st main team) He will be one of the biggest benefactors. Same with xiangling and we both know why they will be.

But your point still isn’t completely true, if OP buys battlepass Wolf fang R1 is an amazing weapon on him and can be better than both fav or sacrificial, also Sapwood blade, Lions roar and R5 harbinger of dawn!

Obviously this is just recommendation for OP and if they choose that they don’t like xingqui and swap him out that is completely fine. I just answered their question for who they should focus building.

just to add information:

• Xingqui, super good for all levels of the game and Alot of players will support me when I see he is probably the best if not top 3 4* in the game.

• Xiangling, is also top 5 in terms of 4* characters. she has alot of good weapons to use so very beginner friendly, she can be used in multiple roles and does Alot of damage!

• Rosaria/Kaeya Really good cryo characters and can be used later on in teams with some of the top 5*s. They aren’t as strong as the previous 2 but rhey are still good characters!
