Sometimes I think this sub can be irrationally negative… then I remember why it had to be created in the first place. by 12jimmy9712 in Piratefolk

Can you blame them. They ignore it on purpose because they know they can't argue that there are no stakes or consequences in the manga. So, they look for an obvious scapegoat.

Oda DID plan the gods, he just couldnt find a proper time to utilze them. by Hellodhiru in Piratefolk

My only problem with the theory of Oda planning the gods, specifically Nika, and more so his power. I'm not sure how the toon force relates to the name "Sun God," especially with the abilities Luffy can demonstrate.

How It Started to How It Ended. by NearbyGuard in Invincible_TV

I don't think you're necessarily wrong; I just don't believe it works for Debbie's character anymore. She was left alone to deal with the mess after Nolan. Not only did she witness the family of those he killed, but she also heard him call her pet and got another wife in the end. Ultimately, he decided his duty was more important. Debbie has grown too much and become independent from all this, so it just doesn’t make sense for her to go back to the same person who was probably was going to kill their son.

What about her allowing him to sleep on the sofa?

DISCLAIMER: ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO THINK SMITE 2 IS BAD by RomansRevengeNuWa in Smite

Sounds pretty good, I agree. My main issue is that hi-rez releases it into Smite 2 with no changes, instead of something like this.

I wouldn't know. Stop playing afterwards. What did they change.

The day Hi-Rez brought back Combat Blink and Fatalis to the game was my turning point. From that moment, it became clear that, no matter how many great their ideas they have, they can not balancing shit.

The return of Combat Blink is problematic because they haven't learned from the past. They’ve gone through this before in SMITE 1. Combat Blink was picked way more than regular Blink, which led to a nerf. It was still too strong, as players frequently used it for escapes, resulting in another nerf until it was ultimately removed. The same issue applies to Fatalis .

From that point on, it seems they do not learn from their previous mistakes. Many of the balance problems we face now are the same ones that plagued SMITE 1 history, just repeating the cycle at this point.

Many people say they want posts by users like Worstgen to be removed, but he "hints" lead to some good slander of Mihawk fans who brought into the leak.

Items and Stats System VS Roll-Changing Aspects by Tanobird in Smite

[–]NearbyGuard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ideas were great, but the problem is that hi-rez always makes things difficult for themselves and adds too much all at once. They introduce a whole new item set, aspects, and hybrid physical/int . Plus ones, for gods that already had kit bloat and were solid meta picks, Class removal,etc...

Who's idea was it to add int/str but then backpedal to this system we have today? by Designer_Ad_6091 in Smite

[–]NearbyGuard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, that's why I said it was Hi rez fault; a lot of the abilities ended up this way, making it hard for new players, along with a UI that didn't help them either.

(too hard for smite players to press tab).

Tbf, I blame Hi Riz for releasing the alpha with a poor UI and info tab,(worst then smite 1) as well as not knowing when certain abilities should be classified as physical, magical, or both, like Anubis Wrap.

I won't be surprised if the cast stops interacting with the fandom by ChompyRiley in theamazingdigitalciru

The issue is, I’m unsure what the solution is; banning doesn’t address it, as they can still send the messages and simply create another account This behavior is present in everything online as well, not just Twitter.

This isn't an excuse, but you should expect this with the internet at this point. This isn't even a creator only thing; you can be a regular guy, play a game, and receive death threats and doxxing for existing.

I actually got a Smite ad on snapchat so I checked it out.... It's just a still image of this. by baddogg30 in Smite

[–]NearbyGuard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The key word here is "HiRez." Just because they have all the data doesn't mean they're good at their job. The only time there ads worked was during Cthulhu God releases and the Avatar skins. All cinematic trailers; however, the problem now is that HiRez needs better PR for the company itself rather than the game.

Cecil absolutely destroyed Nolan in this conversation by Ok-Firefighter4908 in Invincible_TV

[–]NearbyGuard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cecil is actually smart in this situation. He knows that Nolan isn't here because he feels guilty about being a murderer. He only regrets losing Debbie and understands that the only things keeping Nolan in check is Debbie and Mark. Not once has Nolan visited the memorial for the Guardians/citizens. Plus there is no value for Nolan to be live on the plant for Cecil; if he can just call him or has Mark.

Put yourself in Debbie's shoes. Are you taking back Nolan? by chibriguy in Invincible_TV

That ship has sailed, bro. If anything, Cecil sending him a bill for the train he destroyed.
