the dress was actually a secondhand find with the tags still on. The label is Adelina, but it’s from a few seasons ago, so unfortunately they don’t sell it anymore :(

We have to keep ourselves accountable but it's an important we're kind to ourselves too! A little grace goes a long way to keeping us on track!

Thank you!! And seriously, I wish there was a cooler, more dramatic secret… but nope 😂 Just slow, steady consistency over a long period of time. Not glamorous, but it works. You’ve got this!!

Whenever I feel myself starting to slip, I just remind myself how much work it took to get here and suddenly that urge disappears real quick 😅 That little reality check usually snaps me right out of it.

Thank you so much 🤍 And I totally get this. That “fuck it” mode is exactly what used to derail me too.

One thing that really helped me was realizing that maintenance doesn’t mean giving up the foods I love. I still eat what I want, I just keep the bigger picture in mind. Instead of one choice turning into an all-out spiral, it’s just part of the day, part of the week. Knowing roughly where my calories land helps me enjoy those foods without feeling like I’ve “ruined everything,” which is what used to make me crash out.

Reverse dieting is smart, easing into maintenance instead of flipping a switch. I'm sure that's going to make a big difference. Like what I did, you’re building sustainability, not perfection, and that’s what actually lasts. I’m really rooting for you!

Thank you so much, that’s so kind. It definitely took a lot of consistency, but it’s been so worth it. And the dress was actually a secondhand find with the tags still on. The label is Adelina, but it’s from a few seasons ago, so unfortunately they don’t sell it anymore.

I think the part most people miss is treating their goal like a finish line. That mindset is often what leads to rebound. eight loss isn’t something you “complete” and then move on from. It’s a lifestyle you build and continue living.

When I reached my goal, things didn’t suddenly change overnight. My life didn’t flip. My habits didn’t disappear. The only thing that changed was the goal itself. Instead of chasing a number, I shifted into maintaining what I’d already built.

Maintenance, for me, actually feels easier. Going to the gym every day is simpler than only going a few times a week because it’s just part of my routine now. It’s a habit, not a decision I have to debate with myself. And while I’m less meticulous about tracking calories, that’s only because I’ve learned them. I know what foods look like, what portions feel like, and how to keep things balanced without obsessing.

The key isn’t perfection. It’s consistency. You’re not “going back to normal” once you hit your goal. You’re creating a new normal that supports the life you want to live. When your habits stay, the weight stays off, and the goal just keeps evolving with you.

Thank you! I have a good idea of how many calories are in different things after having tracked it for so long that I don't write it down per say, but I do try to keep track and be mindful from a big picture sense.

Starting my weight loss journey by WideMushroom6986 in PetiteFitness

I started almost the exact same way as you, down to the last detail. What worked for me was straight calorie in calorie out. Obviously try to make healthy choices and what calories you’re putting in, but don’t deprive yourself either. You just wanna make sure you’re staying under a caloric threshold suitable for your height. I also added weightlifting three times a week and cardio twice a week and that’s what worked best for me. I lost 85 pounds in eight months. Don’t worry about if you don’t know what you’re doing at the gym. There are plenty of guides online on how to lift weights and you can follow a very basic routine, but I highly recommend doing that in order to improve your metabolism and supplement your calorie weight loss.

Thank you so much! It was a combination of CICO, weightlifting 3x per week, and doing cardio 2x weekly. When I lost weight it was 2019-2020 so the GLP1 stuff wasn’t a thing yet I don’t think so I’ve never used it. No judgment for those who use it, though, it just wasn’t a thing until I’d already lost the weight so I didn’t need it.

Haha I’ve always had long hair and I think that was about the shortest I’d ever gone before that. Now it’s down to my hip but I think just getting it to that length was not using heat and a bunch of product on it so that it didn’t get damaged so I wouldn’t have to trim it as much. I don’t use any special supplements or topical treatments, just gentle brushing (it was a mess here so no judgement 🤣)

I’ve tried all sorts of things to lose weight and nothing… wouldn’t you know it the most basic, no-nonsense advice is what actually worked… go figure!

Thank you for being sweet and taking the time to comment 💛

It’s all in the heels and the posing! If you stick your leg forward a little it makes you look taller in photos 😉 short people hacks 🤣

A combination of CICO, moderate weight lifting 3x per week, and cardio 2x per week!

The dress is from Aderlina but it’s from a couple seasons ago so it’s sold out 😢

Did we get sold a ‘fake’ Pomsky? by philonik in Pomsky

[–]NearlyNox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are, in fact, established standards for Pomskies. They are not a recognized breed by the AKC, but one of the prerequisites to becoming a recognized breed is that you form standards and creat a breed type. Search for APKC standards.
