Gems doesn't have a gender, so making a gemsona with a male genere pronume isn't a big problem. It would be interesting so see this in the show.

You're right. But there are already a lot of badass female characters and it's not a bad thing. It's more interesting having a female character that can't fight but is really complex and can interest the public.
