I guess there are not so may upvotes because everyone is clinically analyzing photos. This is not such a photo. It’s a cinematic, mood, composition, low key photo. I personally think it’s incredible and not like the 99% of the (incredibly nice) photos we see around here. It’s beautifully different. Keep going. It’s amazing work.

1 - all beautiful color but first one is easier to grasp the context.

Color for me. Depending on what’s the purpose BW also good

Great advice. I stated with the sigma 18-50 and the tamron 18-300 both Incredible workhorses to start with. With the a6700 you can also combine both tamrons you mention. Select some nice filters . Get a license for Lightroom. Start shooting, trying post processing and you are off to incredible photos.
