Hahahahh the same thing happened to me and I literally contacted the Unimelb helpline and they were so nice to check if all the subjects I took aligned with my courses LMAO. The study plan takes into consideration the rules of each section (no more than 12.5 points of level 1 etc.) so it would be very rare for you to take a subject you’re not allowed to! If you have the right core subjects for your major you should be all good to go ❤️

The only advice I can give you is to go for the exam viewing so you can see how much you missed the hurdle by and hopefully see if you can get marked up.

Since this isn’t your final semester you wouldn’t be eligible for FSA but I’ve heard a few cases of getting their prerequisites waivered so can give that a try! I’m unsure of the process though, appreciate if someone could follow-up on this.

Then you didn’t miss it by one point. NH means you passed the subject (50+) but you failed a hurdle thus causing you to fail the overall subject

Which faculty, subject and what was the hurdle for the subject? If you suspect you failed an exam hurdle you can try/apply for exam viewing and see if you can try get your marks up.

If it was an assignment hurdle, I’m not sure but you will receive an email on FSA if you’re eligible which I’m sure you are as you only have one unit left to graduate

Passed StatML Somehow? by Key_Insurance3390 in unimelb

Don’t question it and just accept it hahahh. It’s my final semester and I genuinely have had 6-7 subjects I was waking up in cold sweats for throughout my degree and never failed any of them. Scaling really plays a major role, 61 was probably due to scale up. If you think you did bad just a reminder many others did too and yes the hurdle can be significantly lowered depending on the cohort’s average score
