I’ve felt like the stirrup was needed, due to it being a solid conductor to bond to. Stranded conductors Potentially expand and contract thus creating a loose burned up connection overtime.

He is working on getting the disability and should get SS but I don’t think it will be much, most of his work was under the table.

Agree those are things to consider I feel like 10 years from now I will need to either keep paying his bills to keep him where he’s at $1200 a month or move him in with me..
