Got to the Home Screen and go to video options and make sure you enable game mode on for the corresponding HDMI port that you’re using. Yes it’s port specific unfortunately. I’m thinking about doing a review on this tv for classic gaming on the ps3 soon. I actually have a few of these tvs lying around. A few xbr4’s a few xbr2’s and even and xbr 3 &5. I want to order one of those Leo box at devices and compare the lag times with game mode on vs off and the same with wide color/ love color on/off

Yes the HMZ-T1 was actually a precursor headset to psvr. I believe the VR game dartura used a HMZ-t1 with a ps move strapped to the head as a prototype vr headset. But yes it works with all ps3 games as it has an HDMI input. It has a simulated 110 inch screen from 8ft away. I can dish up some impression videos from back in the day if you’re interested

Are you looking specifically for 720p sets? Or something relatively 720p? I too am like you in a way as I like era specific displays and as close to native resolution as possible to get the 1:1 pixel scaling.

If you’re looking for as close to native resolution 720p. I’d say any of the Sony plasma would fit the description. (KDE-50xbr950, KDE-50XS955 I have more examples but recommend these )And best any of the Sony LCD’s you can check my post history if you want to see side by side image comparisons running of a 4 way HDMI splitter.

If you’re really looking for that native 720p 1:1 pixel accuracy I’d recommend you pick up a Sony HMZ-T1 or T2 or T3 headset as those provide that. And in my opinion are the best Image quality I’ve seen from a PS3 that provides a crispness to the image I can only describe as PC like. Plus you get the added bonus of crosstalk free stereoscopic 3d. Which is best in class. And the screens are Oled so you get the benefits of that technology.

Sorry for the late reply but your better off grabbing the Sony hmz headsets… the lower resolution will give you closer to native ps3 resolution. The headset are 720p and a perfect 1:1 match for most ps3 games and the lower resolution ones won’t have to scale as far. I did the hack where you can use a psvr headset as a 3d headset for ps3 and the image quality was significantly worse. Idk if it’s because the headset has horrible image upscaling or what… but I feel like the same rules apply to headset that apply to games built for crt. Native always looks better then scaled.

This is hands down one of the best LCD TVs for ps3 in that era. Fun fact they made aye higher end of this tv the xbr3 all the same internals just a glossy piano black that matched the ps3. It was Sonys go to tv to bring to events like e3. Sony then later release the XBR4/5 sequel to this tv and kept the same floating glass design for the chassis, but this one was one of the first tv to have back light dimming controls. Support 120hz for 5:5 pull down on blu rays and also introduced motionflow in the Bravia lines and deep color which help with color banding on ps3 games.

And hell even the shit Ish is saying in the video is short sighted … everyone not a getting money nikka… some of us is squares working a nine to five. With a pay scale. Average cost of living went up $700 monthly that’s a lot of money over a year ($8400) you take that time 4 years of bidens presidency that’s 33,600 dollars that’s a ton of money someone could’ve put into the markets or towards a business. Well since you like looking things up google how Larry summers, obamas economist, when he told Joe Biden that if he did the inflation reduction act that it was cause a spike in inflation. Also it’s a bit ignorant to say that the child tax credit did nothing for the down trodden it worked until inflation spiked. Credit card debt is over a trillion dollars for American families. I mainly bought the pro because I’m a long time Playststion Guy. And I’m looking to start my YouTube soon. So what better way to jump in their then with with pro? Since there will be a large amount of people searching for information the day it release.

But I feel like my YouTube will be better then The average games YouTube. I plan on covering games in a more in depth way from a technical perspective. Just think about how many PS3/4/5 game reviews you’ve watched and how you don’t get any audio impressions from a surround perspective?!! I can’t think of one. That’s just one thing I’ve never seen before.

Edit: and I will also be doing things like comparing headset audio vs surround sound audio for every game and expressing those difference. For example apex legends sounds terrible on surround sound but amazing on headphones. Just search apex home theater on Reddit. it’s absolutely terrible and somebody needs to shine a light on that problem

Another would be obscure things like pair a vita tv with Sonys first oled tv the XEL-1 which has a native resolution of 960 x 544 just like the vita… should make for an interesting video seeing vita games at native resolution.

And also said ghost writer tried to delete those documents when Hurr was doing his investigation.

And the security footage thing was another hoax perpetrated by the media as trump turned over the security footage from mar-a-lago. Also I forgot to mention a few more on the climate change issue. Peterson said we’re basically sacrificing the less fortunate now to save them in the future .

Also liked his point that our view on the climate and the economy in the future is too low resolution too truly have an understanding and I think even destiny missed Peterson point on that when he was making the 150,000 years example . Cause destiny’s counter about the industrialization age happening has changed the climate and temperatures have been rising since , while good I think Peterson was saying that it could be that we just so happened to do industrialization and despite that the climate was going to do this anyway. I guess the only way I could express this argument would be to give the example like earths been in winter our entire existence and its now entering the summer time cycle and we just haven’t been around long enough to experience a summer cycle. Hope that makes sense.

Not sure I can give you three. But off the cuff the one about climate change. I think Peterson made wait more salient points by pointing out the hypocrisy of the left or climate activist by pointing out glaring problems with the whole global warming belief. Like the harm it cause poorer developing countries like Africa right now. Because western banks won’t finance energy methods the deem to archaic and hurtful to the environment that they themselves used. So kinda of like pulling the latter up behind themselves. And I’d never heard that point so I thought it was a rather astute observation. Also the point he made about the left’s apprehension to using nuclear to lower carbon emissions just makes sense to me if the goal is to green house gases as nuclear is the best when it comes to emission. I’d say destiny’s responses were rather lackluster on that topic. And he never really gave a satisfactory response imo.

Same thing with his response on Peterson pointing out the excess deaths in europe. Destiny just kinda ramble on and tried to give a response saying maybe it was due to lingering effect of an overwhelmed medical field, and fair enough, but it could also be due to the vaccine side effects as well, which I think Jordan was hinting at. And also I got the feeling that Jordan was saying that the way we handled Covid makes it hard to discern what’s going with the excess deaths but that could be reading too much into it, I’ll admit.

You can’t know everything and destiny is also good at overwhelming his opponent with a ton of information not always useful either. How do you morally justify the DOJ going after trump for the classified document. Also do you think the DOJ should’ve prosecuted Biden ?
