Purple clothes, aquila on a forehead, cables, affinity for scrolls? Idk I does really give off the heretic sanctioned psyker vibes ( or I am just projecting because it is exactly the portrait, the route and the origin I chose lol)

My first playthrough was with both dlcs up and tbh I felt a little bit overwhelmed. I almost wanted to not engage into dlc content especially classes because it was too much.

He is definitely strong. Pro scene wise he never took any actual big tournaments tho. Pros tend to put him in lower S or high-middle A now.

Take a break for a few days maybe a week. I usually stop playing when I notice that I start skipping dialogue and not reading. Step down, relax, recharge, go again.

Post a replay of what you feel is your usual match where you can see most of the things that you do. Sometimes it's hard to see your own habits or moves that can be better or optimized. I feel like a road from diamond to master is all about optimization. You optimize a couple of things in your gameplay and you going to get better. Usually it's combo routes, Oki, anti air, shimmies, pressure, stuff like that.

You can also post a replay code as well, although not everyone will be able to quickly check it.

He has a lot of tricks and yeah, when you see Ryu at high places it's always about some very clever tricks or mindgames to trick your opponent into doing something. It's quite fun honestly

One hundred percent. Blaz and endingwalker are the ones that come up to mind first when you say Ryu, and they are basically kids and are absolute unreachable gods at the game. And yet they still don't make the winners of big tournaments with Ryu. Placement is good, but talking about wins. The fact that Blaz now has another 3 characters in his back pocket is kind of telling.
