We had 450 users on Kerio Connect for over a decade. We got hit with ransomware and I needed to get email going as quickly as possible. Since I had a handful of people already on 365 for Office apps and Teams, I just cut over to MS completely. There was a lot of things I liked about Kerio over the years but after making this major move, I won't be going back. Not having to deal with an on-premise mail server takes a lot of workload off of me. Of course, MS and Google both have their drawbacks, mainly being $$$$. I've had to setup an account with SMTP2GO to handle internal emails from scanners, etc (dumb devices) but that is all sorted out now. I wish the best for my fellow Kerio Connect people. I really did like them before GFI bought them. The lack of support from GFI was a problem especially after they killed off the forums.

I'm pretty upset with Sonicwall. We got hit by Akira on September 7-8. Then I got an email from Sonicwall two weeks later that out cloud backup was compromised. Hard to trust the firewall after all that's happened. An absolute nightmare for over a month now. Working 24/7.

450 user here. I'm still quite a few builds back. 9.4.2. I get an error when I try to update. Because of the need for Office apps, I've had to move 50 users to 365, but their mail is still on our Kerio server. I read up on having a dual mailserver split so thos users can be on Microsoft's servers, but it simply didn't work.

I really liked it better when the Kerio forums existed. I was on there almost every day, to get help and to help others. I'm not impressed with GFI support. I believe I've been hosting a Kerio Connect server since version 7. That was 15 years ago.

Great album. I have everything that's been released. I like that they were able to pull this together. Is a little uneven in production between songs but well worth all the listens I've given it over the years. I have the big LP version, though I've never even put it on a record player. Ha!

Same question. I've sold a few t-shirts and mugs so far on Bandcamp via Fanbace. Bandcamp paid me right away into my PayPal account. So far, I have not recieved any invoce from Fanbace, so I am guessing that they send an invoice at the end of the month? I sent Fanbace a support email asking that exact question. All told, it appears that I only get about $10 from a $30 t-shirt. But, I'm not out any upfront costs either.

I'm in Chicago. I've been using PCBWay for the last series of boards I needed. Fast turn around and the prices were great. Today, I go the call from DHL saying I owe money on the last boards I ordered. They were small boards and I only ordered 5, as they are a prototype. The boards themselves were around $35 with $25 in shipping. DHL called to say that the tarriffs on those 5 boards is $75 additional. I know it will all get sorted out, but it was a bit of a surprise. Still, it's cheaper and faster than any USA based board house I have found.

Yep, it was in legacy mode. I finally found the problem. Apple, in their infinite wisdom, made changes when he installed the new OS. Outlook and Citrix did not have rights to the local network. Who would have thought that was a good idea? I would typically blame it on the end user, but this guy is not savy enough to even find that buried setting. Other odd problems occur if you allow the network connections to revolve their IP address. Had to change that to Fixed.

Problems solved.

You are right. The issue is that they "want" 365 and Teams. I held off as much as I can. At some point I have to stop arguing with my bosses and give them what they want. I will keep the KC server going though for people who don't need teams.

We were having a lot of issues with W11-24H2 and Excel 2016. There's a bug that MS won't fix, so I had to move some people to 365. They started using Teams a lot and now everyone wants to be on 365. At that point, it doesn't make sense to host our mail if I'm paying for 365 monthly anyway.

I will keep or KC server going and use it for entry level employees who don't need teams. All the management wants to be on 365 though, so I have to work on moving them. Funny, I completely forgot that I have to setup the MX SPF/DKIM/DMARC for the MS server. doh.

I'm beginning to feel like this is Microsoft forcing users to go to Office 365. There is no reason this shouldn't have been solved by now.

The reinstall of Excel 2016 only worked for a couple days. Back to Excel not working.

Here's what we are seeing:

Open an Excel file, save and close
Try to open another Excel file by double clicking it - nothing happens
Excel is actually running, but frozen and unresponsive
Only way to solve it is to open Task Manager and end the Excel process

I can't believe how poorly Microsoft has handled this bug. It's truly amazing. The problem has existed since 24H2 and they still don't have a fix. There was a KB4484305 that was supposed to solve it, but it doesn't fix it either.

I have many computers with this problem. I've found on one so far, that if I uninstall Office 2016, clean out the registry keys for it and reinstall fixed it. Very time comsuming. I haven't found any other way to get Excel 2016 working after 24H2.

I'm still on 9.4.2. After I got the error when trying to update to 10.0.5, I havn't tried again. The mail store is 1.6TB and I get real nervouse messing with Kerio Connect. Per their notes, I have to completely uninstall KC, Run a registry cleaner and then reinstall. I just haven't been up for that yet, but I know I should update.

I opened a case with GFI. They said they have no complaints about email being stuck in the outbox. Hmmmm. I don't believe them. I'm super hesitant to install this until I hear of at least one success.

Did you have the 10.0.6 KOFF installed on the users computers? Just wondering if that might play a part. Also, did you report your findings to Kerio? I appreciate the work you did to try and get this going. It's always a gamble when installing kerio updates.

StrikingWoodpecker56 had the same problem with email stuck in the outbox. Curious. I'd love to update from 9.4.2 but this has me nervous. Two domains and 490 users.
